We are confirmed with PTP for saturday the 23rd at 12:00pm.
They said they'll try to have the turbocharged 8 on the dyno so we can watch it make a pass.

What kind of numbers have they been pulling?

 

Jon at PTP said their goal was a minimum of 300 horsepower at the wheels. I havent been given the latest update though.
He said they could get 325 easily with the right tuning.

I also asked for an option for a different turbo and he said they'll do anything we want. I already know what their goal price is for this system but I'm not going to disclose it. I will say it's MUCH better than SSR's price.

 

Just FYI:
This trip is cancelled.

We happenned to schedule the austin trip on the same weekend as rotary revolution and Jon from PTP thought we were coming down this weekend. They're out at RR next weekend so they won't be in town.
They said we could reschedule for another time sometime in the future so maybe next month.

How unfortunate to do all this leg work.

We will see how all this falls into place and works out. If it is as good as everyone hopes I am sure we could make plans for another one. Although I really doubt next month would work for me. I have a 20th anny so I am already throwing down a lot of money on that.
