I'm racing an 06 RX-8 this season in SCCA B-stock using the car for what it was designed for instead of daily driving around wishing my car was slammed on some springs that I can't install myself I'm also contributing to the suspension/racing forum, and as I recall I stopped by to help Scott and Big Red with their brakes even after I sold the car. When was the last time you posted something useful to the board beyond the dis-service of trying to hook everyone up with your sister.

P.S. if you think that picture was done by a pro photographer you need to get a second opinion. Only a beginner shoots in the middle of the day. The picture has harsh shadows, the background is way overexposed and the guy needs to get himself a circular polarizer to cut the glare but it's ok since you got your $5 worth.

Well aren't you just full of hostility.....I was at the meet for the pics and all day they were complaining about the sun and shadows.

Ha, I'm not even going to comment on most of that **** but I will say that it was pretty pathetic bringing my sister into it, you really must be grasping. You're right, I don't want to put the springs on myself but then if everyone else could, I don't think that install party would even have been planned in the first place and you wouldn't have been able to show off your toaster...er...I mean, show up to help everyone else out of the kindness of your heart.

Yeah, we should but instead of letting something he's not interested in doing just be, he has to attack my post when I'm just trying to spread the word?! It was a great day and I met a lot of people but apparently that doesn't matter, I wasted my time in his opinion over a stupid $5 that I didn't even end up paying. I may not know jack about cars and he can rip into me over and over for trying to learn but at least I try to be a good friend to everyone on here. I stay up late doing physics (even though it's wrong), I play softball when a team is short a girl (even though I suck), I loan my 8 to someone who is getting screwed by a jackass lawyer (even though it has a ghetto lean), I let people stay with me when they're in town (even though I have no food in the fridge), and I help pay for a trip to the Dragon (even though I threw up three times and babbled the whole way up there).

But hey...he's right, I don't contribute anything because I can't put springs on my own car and I use the 8 as a daily driver. I guess that makes it okay to rip my sister on the forum. My bad.

 

Yeah, next time we'll just take the forfeit! hehe.

I think what we have here is a lack of respect , 60% of the people who have rides on here are stock , so what does that mean? If i lived at home with my mom i could have every mod known to man installed on my car with no real responsibilities other than making a car payment, and i guess i can claim my mom and dads car on here also, you would be cool if you wouldnt come off as a jerk with every comment someone makes, with the fact that everyone else on here can seem to be mature yet playfull about whats going on, i guess you got a lot to learn about being a humble car enthusiast!

LOL. Ive considered going to one but maybe not if a fight is gonna break out. LOL.

 

Actually, Cosmos doesn't come to the 8 meets. Probably has something to do with the fact that he doesn't own one anymore, or maybe he's too busy with other stuff. Regardless, those of us that do go to the meets tend to have a good time, so if you are considering coming out, then do not let this be a deterrent.
