It depends, on the mood I suppose. Some meets have ended as early as 9 (though those have been really rare) While most people start to leave around 10 with stragglers staying and chatting in the parking lot till 11.

You know...I take back what I said...9k...Why do you keep bashing on the dfw mazdas group?...They're a fun group who meets ever week, makes an effort to reach out to other groups (like now), and they're true enthusiast...I find it funny that so many people bash them, yet they're quick to ask them to be place holders for the state meet if we can't get the numbers.

Then again, why not!

My intention was NEVER to use them or any other group as "place holders" I do meets first and foremost for US because that's the people I know, love and care about.
If it came to asking others to join, it was not going to be solely DFW Mazdas, it was going to be ALL MAZADA groups that I could find. 7's, Speed 3's, Miata's, etc. It was going to be an open invitation to all Mazdas because THAT is what our Mazda rep had asked me to work on. (killing two birds with one stone)
So please for the love of pete, stop already. They were not going to be asked because they were sloppy seconds. Yes, I do love our group, but the main reason I like to keep them small is because they are easier to manage. Creto and Seatown have BOTH heard me mention this several times when planning previous state meets despite the possibility of them being larger. If you want to get defensive, please, do it elsewhere.

yeah I always hate taking them off but I needed to get to the heat-shield... couldnt get them back on with clamps so i gave up and bought new ones from mazda (plus an exhaust hanger that broke) unfortunately i didn't find out the price until they already shipped.. 70 bucks for 2 springs 2 bolts 2 nuts and a hanger = O ridiculous considering the price that other car manufactures want for their spring bolts.... at least they got everything out in a day.. typical dealerships

My flight doesn't land at DFW until 8:30...I'll stop by on my way home since it's right there.
And Creto, if you stay until I get there, I'll pay you for the two shirts I still owe you for.

Hey, if you (or anyone else for that matter) need OEM parts, Freeman Mazda of Irving will sell you stuff for almost cost if you mention you are part of the RX8 Club. You might have to talk to a manager, but this has worked for me. They sponsor The Texas 8 and have saved me a ton of money on replacement stuff. Just FYI. If it doesn't (due to the revolving door of dealerships) let me or Seatownracer know so we can re-establish that relationship.
I go to Eldorado Mazda they are nice to me but they tend to be very pricy and a bit ignorant. They put my gear selector in wrong when my transmission blew .... and they leave tools in the engine bay...... basically i yell at them a lot and end up going above their heads to mazda usa to get things done but it works eventually ....
