Autozone will charge it for free, if you have another car just drop off the battery and come back later for it. I've used the autozone at Coit/Spring Creek and they have charged mine up no cost to me.

Guys, thanks...
Had no problems today, jumped it, drove to work and had no probems with starting when I left this evening. With the cold tonight I expect the real test will come tomorrow morning.
I will put the battery charger on it though...as soon as I find it somewhere out in the garage (?).
Since I just bought the car not sure how old the present battery is - which leads me to another question - I'll start a new thread as I don't want to jack this one.

Coil and wires + labor = 350 at Classic Denton (Ramsey gave me some discounts)

Noise seems to have gone away and the start is much better.

sweet deal, did you ever check to see if the "cat was glowing red" ? 9krpmrx8 mentioned that.

im having a similar issue just curious

gonna do the DIY coil test as well

I havent been able to see anything wrong with the cat, though I'm not really a car buff so I wouldnt really know what to look for besides the glowing red problem.

I have coils and plug wires that are new and good if you need some to test
