DFW Dealers??
All,
I am up in Wichita Falls and my choice of Mazda dealers is limited to a grand total of......(drumroll)....1. Hold the applause:-) Anyway, Anybody have a list of some/all dealers in DFW area?? I have searched on the net and have come up with 2. I have also located one in Denton. I have a hard time believing that there are only 2 dealers in all of DFW. If anyone has a list or can pass on the name of the dealer they dealt with I would be gratefull. Thanx, Texas 8

Use the Mazda website. It will list all of the dealers in Dallas if you set the mileage from your zipcode correctly. It will also show an inventory at each of the dealers which may or may not be accurate.

Put in the zip code 75082 and 20/30 mi range. You should see 6 or 8 of them come up. I bought almost a month ago now and in my calling around to fleet managers very few were willing to go under MSRP as it seems the cars are selling at a reasonable pace. I drive past 2 dealers frequently, 3rd occasionally; while the stock "isn't flying off the shelves" I observe a pretty steady disappearing and replenishing. I’ve heard that at smaller towns in TX, or in bordering states are more willing to deal. True or not I can’t say.
I bought at Freeman Mazda and was treated pretty well. Absolutely no BS fees or strange mark-ups. Just the purchase price, tax, title, and license (no destination fee even).

Thanx. As far as smaller TX. towns being more willing to deal...I haven't seen much/any of it here in Wichita Falls. They seem to be pretty staunch on MSRP. The problem is, here we only have 1 dealer. And at any given time there is no more than one 8 on the lot. Most of the time it's 0. So, when they get one in, it's like an auction. OK, who wants to pay the most?? I thought I may have better luck finding what I want for the $$ I want in Dallas. We'll find out soon enough. Thanx again. Texas 8

Texas 8:
The contact at Freeman is Wayne Sharp, Internet Sales, 972.438.2121; wsharp@freemanauto.com. He found our blue 8 with the options we wanted in less than a day, had it trailered in, and we drove it home the next day.

TownNorth Mazda in Richardson gets my vote, I originally went to Freeman and wasn't crazy about how they were working my financing (fuzzy math), talk to Mr. Burns (Not Montgomery, Im out of town and dont have his card in front of me) at TownNorth talk about a nice guy, and a great Dealership in general! BTW if you go to Freeman, dont give them your real phone number unless you want them calling you for months.
Every employee at TownNorth seems as if they are enthusiast, and you are treated special which goes a long way with me with service.

(A little late but...)
I also bought my car from Wayne Sharp (internet dealer at Freeman) Great guy, would buy from again.
It seems the finance guys will def. screw you over tho. I luckily already had a good rate from my credit union, so I basically said "if you can beat this, we'll talk, otherwise just hurry up and fax the purchase order to my bank." They couldn't beat it.
The guy also knew right off he wasn't going to get an extended warranty out of me. (the price was more than double any other car). So really I didn't get hassled too much.
But anyway, during the time I was in there, I could tell they were screwing the hell out of some guy. The guy I was with I believe was the manager, because the other guy kept coming in to check numbers with him. They would always write stuff down on a pad and not let me see, but I some point I heard the number 17%!!! They def. do the "fuzzy math" stuff.
