As promised, we're doing a short cruise this week.

We will meet up at Culver's in Flower Mound, eat dinner, and then drive up to Frosty's Drive N in Denton for homemade rootbeer, floats and black cows (a rootbeer float heavy on the ice cream).

If you've never been to a Culver's before, they're great. As for Frosty's, it's a great little drive-in style joint with homemade root beer.


The path between the two offers a couple of nice twisty back roads (and one very sharp corner to watch out for). view map

on your route...if you turn left on old alton (just before you get to teasley) you can hit up hilltop road. That's the path I take on my bike all the time. That has about 4 or 5 good turns and a fun downhill chicane. i'll try to edit your map...also it takes you right to frosty's. anybody want to text me when y'all get to 377 ft. worth drive.? 214-458-6562 (it's adam)

Sorry about that abrupt left turn and the pass, I was wanting to take a roundabout way back home and didn't want to split the group in two.

 

Ah, good call, none of us were sure what was going on but it appears we made the right choice.
