DFW: Meet SATURDAY April 18, 12:30pm
A bit late of a note this week, so here's something for this Saturday.
We will meet up at Culver's in Flower Mound, eat lunch, and then drive up to Frosty's Drive N in Denton for homemade rootbeer, floats and black cows (a rootbeer float heavy on the ice cream).
If you've never been to a Culver's before, they're great. As for Frosty's, it's a great little drive-in style joint with homemade root beer.
The path between the two offers a couple of nice twisty back roads (and one very sharp corner to watch out for). view map or we may take the alternate path since it will be daylight and maybe that won't scare the crap outta some folks.
Culver's is located at:
2709 Flower Mound Road
Flower Mound, TX 75022
972-355-3787
Let me know if you will be coming out for a meet and drive.
1. Brandon
2. Kyle
3. Joe
4. Brian
5. Thomas
6. Brandon (trying to make it)
7.

In the grand scheme of things, it's not really late notice, as I normally post on Monday's for meets on Thursdays. I posted two days later for an event two days later, so technically, I kept with my normal lead time. Unfortunately, that doesn't help your situation. Hope you're able to make it though.

Unless you've got a convertible with no top that you plan on bringing, the "slight chance" of showers isn't going to stop me from getting lunch and a rootbeer float.

**** me, I got lost on the way home, wasted a quarter of a tank and and hour and a half of my life ill never get back. Thanks for trying to help Kyle but I was about to run out of money from the damn tolls and saw no such road as the one you described. In the end I somehow managed to find 121 south and head home.
Great meet though btw, it was a **** load of fun along with my open diff and ZERO traction control. Can't forget about Thomas who needs help driving his car but in the end it was great seeing everyone again and my *** hurts... from the ride home and the epic getting lost route. I felt I needed to cover my back on that one in case Creto decides to fire off those smart *** remarks lol. It was fun guys, lets do it again sometime again – the getting lost and + navigation or better directions lol.
