what do i need to do to get the correct firmware to support the GROM?
thanks very much.

GROM USB/AUX Adapter.
Folks,
A little more data on this process. Based on the beginning of this thread I bought the GROM USB adapter. It also has a jack for an AUX and the IPOD connector. I have no idea if the IPOD connector is active. I can tell you the USB part works. My radio is just barely compatible, but it works fine. I get 6 play lists with an unknown number of songs per play list. The display only counts to 99 songs, but when it rolls over to 01, it is really the 100th song. I got tired of hitting next song after about 110 or so. I am using a 4G memory stick.
The GROM was a Christmas present from my wife. She paid $134 for it. Install took about an hour. There are some great tutorials on this list and a great utube video for getting the radio out. Only warning is to make sure the antenna gets plugged back in. It does use up the only open port on the back though. I need to see if the ipod port works as well, but I need a cable for that.
