Recap of the event:
Steve and I meet at his house and Scott rides with Steve. We then head to Plano, which of course neither of us printed directions for, so my wife (my navi) frantically looks at all the maps trying to figure out which roads to take and somehow we end up there with no issues. Peter, sadly, does not show up as planned , so the group decides that he owes us beers on Tuesday!
The event starts by car number and I was 3. I went alittle sooner than Steve did (car 6). We got off to a decent start and the first 30 minutes arent that bad. We get to the one hour mark and end up getting stuck in a maze of a neighborhood (one question literally asks how many times you pass one particular street, answer is 8 btw). We decide to ditch the maze and go on so we dont loose more time. The rest of the roads arent so bad, but we end up missing a couple more tricks that were layed out for us, for example answering questions that had NO answers.... We get to TMS and cant figure out where the heck to turn in our stuff and end up making a loop around the place before we find it, loosing time... grrr. We turn in and then wait about an hour for Steve to get there (I'll let him tell you the story lol)
We then head to the center of TMS to figure out who won. After waiting for the officiants to get there (about another hour), we find out neither of us placed. I had a total of 72/105 points and Steve wasnt that far behind on point totals. Got beat out by damn civis!@#!@@
We capped off the day with a trip to Bueno at no less than 3:00 for lunch!
Anyway, I didnt get many pictures but we did take a couple after lunch, and I think Scott may have a few entertaining ones from their ordeal... lol

Yeah it was actually pretty fun! we were able to drive on a bunch of country roads and on some cool S turns as well. Ummmm yeah it took Scott and I a little longer to finish, mainly because we decided to take a detour over by lake lewisville....But we did get a really cool pic of a man made T-Rex Statue! it is on Scotts camera so he will have to post it up. But anyways it was a fun cruise and the weather was awesome! I would for sure do it again.

Steve and I got really confused on one section of the course and got way off track. we ended up going through some neighborhood streets (pretty fun roads) and drove up and down Lake Shore drive along Lake Lewisville. along the way, here is what made the detour worth it in the end... (what the hell is that anyway?)
