thats waht i'm talking about!!! i had to trade shifts with 3 people and do some major sweet talking casue i'm dedicated to my car not my job dammit!!!

My baby is getting her first mods Saturday morning!!!! Nothing big, but I'll get to show her off Saturday night!

 

I'll be there.. i'll be hitting 15k this weekend. my car will be in the shop monday getting the door panel and mirror replaced plus the 15k service (rotation, oil, transmission fluid, diff fluid etc)..

man i feel like a nerd...i'm getting all excited to have a small group going out!!! i think i got my friend in her Tit grey to come out to!

 

Men...... when is going to be the day i can make it.... i guess is not going to be this saturday..for the next one guys, i had not a good week, my ex put a pint of white paint in my back seat and it was not close tight, so i spill alot of white paint in the back carpet..i am pisssss plus i was having my reflash yesterday, and now my back light is making water....i hope i make it for the next one..save me a beer..i will need it.

 

hell yeah! i'm ready for tonight! just finsihed cleaning my rims...that only took an hour! bout to finish getting the car all cleaned up.

just getting a final check though to see who all is meeting at On The Border so we know who to wait for and not to leave!

so far i got me and my friend Kerra.

 

just a little taste of what will be out there tonight...just got through getting some food with Steve and got to go for a ride in the 3 rotor. damn thing wasn't even tuned and i'm still trying to clean my lunch off the front windsheild...

can't wait for tonight!

edit: and is it me or does the front bumper paint not match the body paint?

yeah it hasn't been painted yet. thats jut the bumper he had laying around the shop to throw on there. he plans on getting it all painted lambo yellow...something like that.

but it seems to be running pretty smoothly though.

What bad day to forget my digital camera! We had around 25 cars show up for our meet tonight!!! It was a good mix of cars to show up with represenatives from every generation from the first gens to the RX-8's. We also had Erik's mazdaspeed Miata, a Mustang, and I even saw a Porsche. I was particularly impressed with the good showing of some very nicely prepped and modded 3rd gens! Some of the other highlights were Steve Kahn's 3 rotor 3rd gen (with a warped apex seal ), a 3rd gen with Z06 engine conversion (professional looking job on it), a 10th aniv. 2nd gen, and a mint looking black 1st gen.

I guess the Ft Worth Caravan ran into a little trouble from the fuz. One of the cars got pulled over for illegal headlights???? The cops must of been bored tonight. It seems like they ought to be out chasing down criminals instead of hasseling people about thier headlights.

I left at about 9pm and there were still 20 or so cars around. It looked like everybody had a good time and we saw some new faces as well. I saw a couple of people with cameras, so if your pics came out good, post them up here for everyone to see.

I had a great time tonight. Great to see you all!! Tons of 7's, 8's and as kruger said even a Cobra, STI, Porsche etc!! Tonight had the biggest turnout since I started going. Looking forward to the next meet!! :D
