You should get the vin and find out if there is a lean by doing a carfax on it , if you contact the bank and they already have claimed the bike as a recovery they will let you buy it. What ever the deficiency is they are going to charge to the original owner anyway. I would look up the blue book on it and throw them an offer 30% less than what it says and see if they will bargain with you.

Don't be mad Nick...you know you miss me And I NEVER side with Thomas so I had to take advantage of one of the few chances I got to help him dish it back out You understand-it's like they say: "It's not business. It's personal."

Hahaha, my fave is that you were "pointing" with your head, not your hand...(that sounded dirty but anyway), haha, cuz you needed both hands to hold yourself up and the fence was so tall....which again brings me to the question how in the WORLD did you DROP the cig OVER the fence. Oh right. Nick already covered that. Hahahaha

OKay. I'm gonna kick it off with a few experimental meet ideas and then plan from there starting next week (after the holiday weekend). But if a lot of people are going to stick around the DFW area and are interested in holiday weekend bbq/pool/lake/carwash/fireworks/etc. (any of all) type of meet, let me know? For now I'm assuming everyone wants the holiday weekend for family/travel/time at home. ?? So post and respond to that.

TUESDAY, JUNE 28 FLYING SAUCER IN ADDISON 8 p.m.

FRIDAY, JULY 1 LONE STAR PARK IN GRAND PRAIRIE-anytime til close (6 p.m. til 11 p.m)

I'll probably post these in a new thread if/when everyone responds with feedback. I have a few ideas for the next week too, but like I said... guaging interest in some new locations/activities to see if they are awesome or full of fail :/

Post up, let me know

I like the new ideas, but sorry Angela, Saturdays are about the only day I have free anymore.... And those are hit or miss over the summer.

It's cool...I have some plans for Saturdays too (or we could do horseraces on Saturdays I guess if anyone/everyone wants to)! I just can't do it this weekend cuz of the holiday-if everything falls into place I'll be outta town. Thanks for the input Joe!

WELL...if no one else is going to post then I'll just bump these both back one week...and perhaps move the horse races to saturday instead? Or Thursday nights? Kyle, I thought you said to let you know if horse races were planned, you would come...(sigh)...okay, let me know what your vote it.

And so far everything is falling into place. Tomorrow it should all be finalized

We should have a meet at a lake one day. We could BBQ or swim or fish and all relax and hang out. I could even bring my boat and we could cruise around the lake if we wanted. (only thing is my boat only hold 3 people at a time so we would have to take turns)

Ah, yes, I wanted a pool/bbq day or a carwash/install day-I admit, it is harder to plan things when I don't have a house (garage) or boat so I can't really suggest and then tell someone to volunteer right? Thanks for stepping up Jew!

From the poll that Adam posted, most people could really only meet on Fridays and Saturdays...If tomorrow is still on, I'm down to go...I'll be there around 9 though.

Yeah, I saw that...but thought I'd try some random days anyway. I dunno about tomorrow, not a lot of people posted? So I thought I'd push it back a week if I need to? It is trivia night, which is SOOO fun even though it sounds SOOO lame...starts at nine So...anyone else wanna go?

Alright. I was just trying to get some stuff together because I miss the 8 club. A lot. And YES I saw Adam's post and YES I saw the votes for the meet times and YES I did say that I'd be posting other ideas, just after the holidays.

It seems not enough people are interested enough to even stay on topic for this-I get convo about bikes but can't get much in response to new ideas.

So... ya know, I guess the group I knew and loved really is gone. And I'll just follow the trend and go to DFW Mazdas with my 8 while checking this forum every once in a while to see when Scott or Thomas post cruises...cuz those at least get people together.

Sorry for trying. Hope you are all doing well. And Sheena and Bullit, if you wanna do trivia night next week on Tues at Flying Saucer, I say we do it, bring friends Cuz it really is a ridiculous good time
