DFW - What's your commute time?
I was wondering how far is too far to live away from your job? Since, my job is in grapevine and I'm trying to get a place in FW. I don't want to be driving way too much and end up hating it.
So I'm trying to decide whether it will be better to just move to grapevine.
I'm going to go drive it today, but I know I won't have the extra traffic that will make a big difference. Mapquest says it's 35 miles.
So input please?

You could live in east FW (the E Loop 820) and it wouldn't be too bad. I had a manager that worked here (far west FW) and lived in Grapevine and she made the commute every day and she didn't seem to mind. Living in HEB (Hurst, Euless & Bedford) also puts you pretty close to both Grapevine and FW.
I once drove from west FW to Grapevine during morning traffic and it took me about 45 min. Traffic wasn't too bad, but it's a good distance.

Thanks everyone. I made the drive today, but later in the afternoon, and it took 38 min. I dont know what it will be like with traffic though. I think I'm still going to give it a try.
I really like the area I'm looking at so, we'll see how it goes I guess.
