Hopefully I can get things together by then!!!! I'm so anxious to get out there. I haven't even done my rear rotors yet. I should get the SOHN adapter any day now and the the additional stuff I need to install it.

Had a great weekend at the track. Finished my last two required practice sessions and tested out of L2...passed with flying colors.
So now it's on to L3 once I get my ride up to spec. Woohoo!

Ok Kevo.. So I am here with Scott and we are critiquing your driving skills.....
1. where did you get those awesome driving shoes
2. we need your HUD to get more info
3. what is up with that last lap were it looks like you slid the rear end a bit too much

Yeah...the driving shoes...don't remember where I picked them up...online somewhere I think..they are Piloti Sebrings...very nice.
I am thinking about adding one more cabin camera aiming at my instrument cluster and steering wheel. It would be nice to see what all that is doing as well. I only occassionally sneak a peek at the speedo and engine temp (one peek every few laps)...other than that it is all by feel and audible cues.
What was the time where you saw the extra rotation? Can't seem to find anything that stands out.
Funny thing about the new tires...I am used to a street tire's audible feedback to help know where the limit is (even the best track worthy street tires give quite a bit of feedback in this regard)...so here I am trying to null out where the limit is with race compound tire that is barely making a sound while knowing that when you exceed this tire's limit it will give you very little warning. Kind of nerve wracking!
So I spent the first session hunting around the envelope until I found where it was. The second session I really opened it up pushed it extra hard in a few places while trying to find a revised line that worked better. Chopped off 3 seconds per lap with the new tires and I know there is still more time to be had in a couple of places. Very exciting!
