from ep to austin

it all depends,if you're going with the greddy and need a place to help get it installed/setup etc. I'd shop the cheapest price on the net and purchase it that way, and then head over to John and the crew at www.jcautospec.com for help with the install. If you can wait the kit from ptp is going to be insane, but it will probably cost more etc. haven't heard anything about/from MZM in ages so that one is a roll of the dice, they supposedly are one of our club sponsors but they're awfully quiet so take that for what its worth

I personally haven't turboed mine, but if I ever decide anything along those lines I'll be purchasing a kit and then having John assist with the install/tuning/whatever, I've heard nothing but good stuff about him and he always treats our club members right. Best thing would be to call the shop and tell them what you want to do and that you were referred by one of the texasrxs guys, I'm pretty confident they'll work with you.

it's a sad sad day in austin... goodybe rx8, hello murano. yes i know you're thinking, what the hell?! i needed more room, wanted to be higher above the ground too. plus i would have ended up paying more than it was worth, they gave me $19,000 for it, but the buy out was $27,000 im gonna miss those twisties

*** update:
so anyway, i went to get my murano today and the sales person drove my 8 into the used car portion and got it appraised.. he came back and was amazed. he said the z cant even compare to the 8, the shifting, the ride, the sound. he even said he's going to lease an 8 just to see how it is. by the end of my trip at the dealership, i had a crowd of nissan sales people around my car lining up to take it for a test drive. even tho we lost an 8, we gained some enthusiasts.
the future looks bright, i see another rotary car in my future, definately.

it's all good, you're more than welcome to still come out and hang with us rotorheads, there's always room for passengers on our rides besides that, who knows what the future holds, there's a lot of bad *** cars comiing down the pipe in the next few years
