Wow... I have been gone way too long. So, where is everyone meeting? I half-assed reading all the posts, but didn't find an address or anything. I have to go to Grand Prairie between 9 and 12 to finish papers on my truck, so I'll be a little closer than Carrollton anyway.

Hello all! I would like to attend to meet some fellow 8 owners in the DFW. I haven't checked out any local meets. I recently moved here and have been busy getting settled in. If that is not a problem. I plan on going to the BJ's meet on 03/03/05, hopefully.

Oh my goodness, it is loud. Jenkins & EG, you thought it was loud at the shop--I saw a friend of mine on the road and he asked through windows if this was my new exhaust. I told him no, it was nothing and he said, "Yea, cause it's really loud! Watch out for the cops--seriously." I drove down the street with my window down and oh my goodness. I don't know what I'm going to do, but I've gotta do something if I want to still have good hearing in a couple years!

And thank you Chris and EG for all of your help. My scrawny attempt at reaching a plug to remove it would not have been successful if it weren't for you! :D
Thank you Scalliwag for letting us use your shop. As EG said, let us know when you need help cleaning it. I couldn't tell you where anything went, but I can stand there and look pretty and take over cooking duty. :D

I may not be a wiz at the grill but you have to admit I can sure get it lit quick And I enjoyed all of you guys (including gal of course!) And I love the sound of the exhaust Dazy. If you don't think you can handle it until yours gets in though we can put the stock back on. I can understand that not being able to even talk on the cell phone. We could toss it on tomorrow. Chris is meeting me there around noonish.

Maybe. I was doing some research on some other members who have added the pipe with a Y back and they liked it. I'm trying to see if it helps with the noise inside.
I did some experimenting on the way home and I could talk on the phone, but the person I'm talking to would have to either talk really loud or yell at me.

OK, I've been driving around and one this is for sure: I've got to do something. It's way too loud inside the car and it's starting to give me a headache. I'm leaning towards a custom Y pipe, but not 100% sure yet (just in case ya'll were wondering).
