Good roads in Fort Worth side of DFW
Hi all,
I was wondering if any of you DFW people know of any relatively low congestion twisty roads on the Fort Worth side of DFW?

Heck.. I'm up for pretty much anything that's West of Arlington. I live downtown.
It's amazing how living here for almost all my life, I couldn't tell you a great twisty road. Now in Austin, that's a different story...

OK, go north on 35 to the north side of Alliance airport, take 156 north to Krum (this is all pretty straight so far but not too heavily traveled).
In Krum take a left on 1173, take that road to 455, take a left and head towards Slidell - stay on that road all the way to Forestburg - take 67 7from Forestburg to St. Jo - take 677 North out of St. Jo to 373 (You are making a big loop) all the way to Muenster (watch out for the Sheriff and City Cops as you approach and leave Muenster). Stay on 373 South of Muenster. GOt to 922 take a right, take that back to Forestburg, out of Forestburg take 1655 to Alvord. From there you can cruise back 287 to Cowtown, you should have your twistie quotient fulfilled at that point. This is one of my favorite local drives.

Thanks for the loop N of Ft Worth. I think my girlfriend and I are going to do drive that next weekend. Are there any scenic parts that make for good photography? She's still nervous about driving my car in traffic, and depending on how she feels out in the country, she might need something to do other than watch me waste gas .

Yes it depends on what you think is scenic. St Jo is a neat little town. There are some spots on the loop north of St Jo over to Muenster. Gotta tell you, I dont pay that much attention when I am out there.
