Grand Prix of Houston Tickets
In case you missed the meeting last week I still have some extra Grand Prix of Houston tickets (around 50 each day), which I will bring to the Houston Miata club meeting tonight. If you are planning on attending the event and want a ticket, stop on by the meet. The race weekend is filled with Mazdas, including the Renesis-powered Star Mazda Formula cars.
Info on it can be found here:

DANGIT! How come I didn't read this thread earlier. I'm organizing a trip down to Houston from Dallas with the North TX S2000 group and a few Miata owners are coming down as well. I actually own an 8 but my gf drives a S and we came last year, it was a blast.
I wish we could've picked up some free tickets, we each paid 105 for the 3 day pass with pit/paddock.

Good to see the RX-8s well represented today...
What I love about that photo with the kids is that they could have walked up to a red Ferrari, but instead they walked up and had their picture taken with the 8.

At the StarMazda race today...
Holding a Commanding Lead!
Plenty of ALMS action too...
Maybe TOO MUCH action. Be careful where you sit!
The evening finished up with the SCCA Miata race (I refuse to call them by that other name). Still plenty of action there. I don't know why the crowd vaporizes after the LeMans action. They all missed out on seeing the weirder stuff like officials letting a smashed car race several laps dragging sparks around before Black Flagging it. And then there was the Miata that had its passenger door pop open and it continued racing around the turns! Don't see that every day.

I just posted some more GPoH pix. I looped them back to the Photo Gallery:
