Anyone from LA or MS ever run there? I ran my new 8 there last night nad had a blast!

 

Gulfport is a **** hole, I was stationed there.

Dont stock RX-8's run low 15's, Dont worry, It all about the seat time you'll get better.

 

yes i have run there before....its a horrible track. Very bumpy, bad wheelhop because of it, and a very horrid running of the facility in general.
Best i ever ran there was a 14.98..........I ran it in donaldsonville, louisiana a few weeks after that and ran a 14.75.....so ya.........

Plus i've been jumped by a group of asians there for no reason before....they have also tried to break into my car twice......so ya **** the gulfport track

I've been going there for years and have never had a problem with anyone.

The track is not the best ill agree! but it only 20 mins from the house, so i dont mind it to much.


Oh yeah, I ran a 12.45@113 last night, i'm happy!

 

nice, but ya i can understand about it being close to home. Unfortunately both race tracks for me are over an hour away.

nah i wish, i'm actualy about to trade mine in for a truck. But rest assured it wont be my last rotary.

I still have an open invitation from steve khan at gotham racing to fully build and tune an rx8.......so i wanna eventualy get another one. preferably a shell from a blown up automatic or somehting, so i can make a track car with it.

 

RXH8TED- Did you see that WB 8 at Gulf Coast Mitsu in G-port? I almost bought that one...

I don't know what was up with my times... Guess I need a little more practice and a little more power...

Eh your times get better, was this your first time racing on a track? First time i ever ran on a track my times were horrible...takes a little getting used to.

 

First time in an 8... I've run my buddy's F-250... 13.55... But it's an auto.
