Once again... glad you are ok. I have to agree with getting rid of the car though. Your luck has to be running out, as is mine. I can't get rid of mine though... I've tried. I think we are finally starting to bond.

Anyway, good luck with the insurance and body work this time.

Hey do we get to help you pick out your new car?

Have you got an idea of what else you might want?

I suggest Ferrari Enzo.

i just now read all this...and i must say it saddens me. granted i love my M3...but i miss my 8. it was one of the earlier ones and i had some cool stuff on it.

same goes with yours Dazy. granted Martin probably did more bad then good...it was a good looking car, and it will be missed. the hardest thing for me was taking it all back to stock and parting it out. unfortunatley i don't agree with the honda pilot...

possibly a new Golf???!!!

M3? You change cars more than anyone i know..
Golf? Screw that.. boring car..
Tiff would look great in a Mini cooper tho :b

Other than that, i'd say check the MS3 out in august.. or even a cx7!

I'm still thinking Enzo. And I call SHOTGUN!

lol

If I got another car (not a sports car) I would look at the Saab 9-3 Aiero. Very nice, and great pricing. Plus you get good european engineering.

Oh better yet, go Lexus IS450! Pretty big price diff though.

i test drove the new CX-7...very nice! 244hp out of a 4 cyl. always good.

and if was a golf...i was gonna suggest an R32...what i used t have. fun and sporty...faster then an RX-8.

and i'm sticking with the M3...such a beautiful car!

I can't belive your selling your car. I guess your not going to be able to defend your title of Best Ladies RX-8 at the next BBQ. With you and me gone its all open now for new winners in both categories :P

My suggestion for a new car would be... hmm
i dunno. what are your criteria (cars purpose, price, reliability level, speed need, etc...)???

NO!!!! I would hate to see the damage that a small tree in a parking lot could cause one of them. You should get an Avalanche or an H3 or any vehicle endorsed by the United States Army.

It will most definitely be a sad day when I hand over the keys to my baby. I've already teared up while talking to a salesman in the dealership. Martin didn't do justice to the car, but it did look good and it definitely got looks from other drivers.

The new car was a toss up between a Honda Pilot and a Toyota 4Runner and as of today, the 4Runner is winning. I'm needing an SUV to haul stuff home from Home Depot and I want the ability to carry 4 passengers AND their luggage when family comes to visit. I also need to think about the safety of my current and future family. Getting what the car is worth when I trade it back in sounds appealling too...

I agree Harry - we've opened the categories WIDE open. I'm excited to see who will win this year (and if Oklahoma is any prediction, Shari is the front runner...)
