Houston Area -- Thursday Weekly Meet (4/10)
After talking with everyone at last weeks meet, it seems that most of the "regular attendies" don't mind two things: Driving to the North side, and *****.
For that reason, the next meet will be held in the old weekly meeting place, at the old weekly meeting time. Hopefully, this will draw out some of the old regulars as well (John, Sabha, Rob, Will - I'm looking at you).

WHERE
Hooters @ I45 & FM1960.
WHAT
An RX-8 meet with open arms. Anyone who wants to come can, regardless of age, car, gender, race, mechanical knowledge, or driving style!
There are only 2 rules:
1 -- Don't drive like a moron in the parking lot. We like this lot, and the security people that work there like how tame & civil we kept our meets in the past.
2 -- Don't come with an attitude. Respect everyone there, and you will be respected back - even if you drive a Green Honda beater
DIRECTIONS
Simple.
There is an enormous strip mall located right on the NorthWest corner of where 45 & 1960 intersect. On the far corner of that massive parking lot there is a Hooters. Behind that Hooters, there is a large section of parking lot that is virtually never, EVER used. This concrete abyss is where we meet up.
Chad & Luke are being signed up automatically whether they like it or not because of last week's trash talking & unfair proximity to the meeting spot, respectively.
PLEASE SIGN UP ONLY IF YOU'RE 99.9% SURE YOU WILL BE THERE

No I watch them by myself. When it gets cold I hug myself and cry......... EEEEEEDIOTS! haha
and yes, Ive swapped an LS1 into my 8 and gotten rid of the spinning triangle nonsense. Also, I got a new set of rims, rears are 17X11s with drag radials. Autocross?? Thats for chumps!! Its all about them westheimer street races yo~!!

Well my brand new transmission was installed & I got my Victoria back this past Friday after being in a rental for a week...
...And yesterday, I had to take her back in because the new tranny leaked, smoke, and nearly caught fire (I'll tell you all about it at the meet). I don't work Thursday, so odds are I'll be the first one there. If you arrive at the meeting spot and there's a shady looking guy smoking a cigar by giagantic black Chevy pickup truck - it's me.

I can probably be there.
BTW, anyone have any logging software? I've been driving with the AccessPort for about 2 weeks now and I'm having some trouble logging what I think are correct AFR's. I'm using Canscan USB and I'm getting some weird logs. I wanted to use it/borrow it to compare the two.

Ironically, I just took my rental truck back and got my 8.
Let's hope it lasts more than a day this time My car won't look good at the meet if it's cloaked in clutch smoke
