A mini-car meet for all sports car lovers. Nothing but just hanging out and talking about whatever. A great way to meet some local owners, get some car tips, or just hear some good stories.

Who:
Mostly Rotorheads and Rotards, but anyone is welcome. As long as you're intellignet enough to realize that the Fast & Furious movies are not a good tool to learn more about cars, you're cool with us.

Where:
I-45 & FM-1960
There's a huge parking lot located behind the Hooters on the NorthWest corner of the intersection. The 4 or 5 RX-8s parked in the back of the lot surounded by nothingness is us.


When:

Will try to make it. Definitely making the monthly meet again dkj. Been having problems with the gf. Bringing her to the monthly meet, and trying to convince her to go to the Tuesday meet.

We haven't forgotten about your meetings, I promise. As I'm sure you've seen we have a hard enough time getting more than 3 people to show up at a place less than 2 miles from their houses! (ROB, I'M LOOKING IN YOUR DIRECTION). As I said before, I've only managed to come to ONE of these since I got my 8 because of schedule conficts.

And just 4 the record, Mr. Big Shot, I have yet 2 see u show ur face @ one of our meets, so shut ur face :P j/k j/k

I doubt it. Unless you drove through mud, I've got you beat. I drove mine to College Station again - lots of fun, dirt, backroads on the way up there.

Sucks about the rim Hopefully it's not too bad - you've got the best colorkeyed rims out of all of us!

There's a once-a-month meet hosted by the RX club of Houston. They're technically the only "real meet" as they gather people together to engage in an activity, as well as show off & discuss car stuff.
The "North Houston Mini-Meets" are a weekly event in which a small handful of us get together to just sit around in a big parking lot and talk about anything that comes to mind.

The more the merrier - bring a friend if you wish. We're a really laid back bunch so don't think you need to be a rotary expert if you want to hang out with us. Hell, up until 2 months ago my mechanical expertise could be summed up with "can change a flat."

 

i curb checked my stock rims, so thats why i rim on these after market konigs. they were cheaper. haha

i can win the dirty car contest if i wanted to, but i dont think i do. my car threw up on my roof... i think that beats any amount of dirt

Since the autocross is Sunday, and DKJ's meet is on Saturday, I don't think there will be a meet next week. In the meantime, how many of you could be free the Thursday after next between 15:00 & 18:00? Just for ***** & giggles we might actually DO something at our next meet; I'm thinking Track21 :D

 

hey nick, i cant make it out to the auto cross meet this weekend. i just realized that im gana be workin. i even said it at the meet that i was but i never really thought about it. but yeah. ima have to miss it again :-/
