Well homework got put on hold when I returned Martin's call today after work. I had some parts that they needed to install the new exhaust so I went to the shop, dropped them off, saw the suspension damage, went to Haslet to get my exhaust from Scalli's shop, back to Martin's to drop off more parts and I just now walked in the door. Whew! But everything is starting to fall into place. The hood and wheels are dependent on what the adjuster says this week, but if the hood can be replaced, I picked out a CF hood. :D Hopefully it'll be in stock and the adjuster says yes to 3 wheels.... then all will be sweet!!!

Thanks. After much deliberation, and pending what the adjuster says this week, I've decided on the Seibon KS-Style CF Hood. At first I didn't think the CF would look good w/the red, but I've looked a tons of pics and I think it'll look great.

Mr. Ed, you said you had a friend who had a hook-up on these? If the adjuster gives the ok and Seibon has them in stock, I may take you up on this. I think Martin can get a deal too, but I'm not sure.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up because I can only do this if the adjuster says I can. Same with the wheels although all four are damaged.

I'll keep ya'll posted!!!

well i stopped by martins today to talk to some friends and i saw the 8. it had a nice new shiny greddy exhaust on it and no bumper. my friend also already talked to Martin about the hood so if it is going to be replaced i think you will be getting the SEIBON hood!

can't wait to see the end result!

When did you stop by? I went there after work and the first thing I saw was no front bumper and I thought, man that looks ugly... then I realized it was my car. :o Martin pointed out the exhaust :D and it looks great! I worked on the light bulbs on the inside, did the 3rd brake light mod, changed some outside bulbs and then started her up and listened to the exhaust. D I was having a crappy day but working on my car made it all better.

I didn't talk to Martin about the hood so that's good to hear Mr. Ed! The adjuster is coming tomorrow so we should know something about that soon and the suspension parts should be here tomorrow too!

I'm going to be out of town next week so if you stop by again, let me know how she's looking!!

Thanks! I may take you up on that this week. Lots of stuff should be coming in and installed while I'm out so I'd feel better if someone else reassured me it was going ok. :o
