the thing is, this girl is 35 years old acting this way, at one point she was even trying to tell me I was bi-polar and needed meds to "take the edge off", don't know why i felt inclined to put up with all that but oh well, sometimes the only way I learn something is the most ridiculously insane hard way lol I'd rather learn it that way than not at all though, I know not all women are lame, I just seem to keep finding the ones who keep the curve alive for the rest of them
edit: she has 3 kids 2, from 2 different dads, and none of them live with her, that right there should have been my biggest red flag ever but oooooops, sometimes I can be a real dumbass

don't beat yourself up. i did almost the exact same thing -- crazy girl, 2 kids from 2 different dads, 2 divorces by age 30, 1st kid was already 11!! and she was psycho. she was hot (kinda), and freaky in bed, but gd she was f-ed up. after a few months i came to my senses and broke it off. up until then she hadn't "wronged" me, i could just tell she was nutty, but after i dumped her she started emailing my new girlfriend, tried to get me fired from my job, etc etc. then, 2 weeks after it all ended, she texted me and wanted to see if i wanted to sit down and "talk about things" ... wtf?!
ah, reminiscing ... anyway, i got a good one now, maybe karma's way of making up for all the bad ones i had to go through to get her! ha ha.
ahh, i'm tired of waiting for my 8, i want to drive it NOW!!!

oh no it's all good, not beating myself up at all, just very grateful I learned from it all and early on, before I really got into some deep poopoo. you ain't lying about the driving thing, such a perfect day for it too, almost took a spin down lime creek during lunch but I have to be in blanco tomorrow for a ticket so I'll be getting my fix then lol

oh ****. i just mapped lime creek and that looks like a wicked drive. i thought 2222 was fun around here (between 1 and 360) but that looks awesome. is it scenic - with regard to a cliff over looking the lake? or is it more ground level? never really driven past "the oasis" area...

very scenic, it's an awesome run but I recommend doing it during the week and day if possible, road has attracted a lot of popularity and there's lots of cops/people/cyclists on it nowadyas on the weekend which is why we hardly ever use it anymore on our weekend runs. There's a lot of terrain out here and in surrounding areas, you're definitely in the best area for driving by far as far as curvy roads and such

Limecreek
Limecreek's fun, but it's had its fair share of casualties. Especially watch out after it rains. Pebbles and gravel wash onto the banked corners, and the road is already kind of gnarly, so seeing them can be difficult.
And like he said, watch out for those damn road bikers. Theyre basically insane to be going down that road. I totally respect their right to be out on the road, but holy moly that's just the worst road on the planet to ride. Hit the apex on one of those hairpins and see a biker? No good.
My advice for what's its worth... take it very slow on the straights, and just have fun in the hairpins and corners. Also, it's a very different road going north vs. south. South is more downhill and has some off camber corner entrances that will bite you.
This concludes my essay on Limecreek... probably all this has been said here. Ah well.
And watch out for the driveways. And neighbors don't like loud cars. And... I'll stop.
I've driven that road a hundred times over the past 20 years with every car I've owned.

hey 2tone,
Fredricksburg is pretty cool, if you want to go a fun way you should check out my route I posted earlier in the thread, it goes up through Devil's Backbone and a fun road out of blanco called 1623, not to mention 1826 and 150 are a hoot too

hey canary -- not that i'm a big speeder, but is any of that area you're referring to *known* for having cops? i don't want to get caught coming out a turn too fast while testing out my new sways any uber-scary curves or cliffs to be wary of? i guess i'll take it easy no matter what since it'll be my first time in that area...
