I'm actually in SA. and since it seems i'm the only 8 in SA(according to the boards) I guess i'm the only one getting hit. I spotted at least one dent on the hood.
WTF?!?!?!? I live in ******* San Antonio. It hailed for a good 25 minutes. I'm so mad right now.

well originally I had Beasley's body shop do it, while the bodywork was ok, the paint was horrific. The place that is doing mine now is called Sutherland Auto body on S. Lamar. As it turns out the owner (Joe Sutherland) is good friends with the folks who part own the location of my best friend's car audio shop, so they all know each other so it's almost like taking it to a family member. I've been very impressed with their customer service and I know from speaking to other people that they do excellent work.

Muya.. many years ago when we had a Ford escort (hey it was all we could afford at the time) we had a hail storm in El Paso of all places... The car was totalled by the insurance company..
That was a crappy escort and not an 8 but I would get an estimate done soon and make a claim.
I hope it works out for you...
EDIT: Geezz, they just talked about the hail there on the local news and show some pictures of hail that got collected... sizes looked like the size of a quarter to half-dollar..

OUCH. Sorry to hear about your hail experience. Depending on how deep the dents are, you might want to try a paintless dent removal place. When the big hail storm hit College Station about 8 years ago, I had lots of friends that went that route. Much cheaper and you would never know that their car had been hit.
I personally have used a paintless place to remove a rather large dent that a friend of mine put in the top of the tailgate of my truck with his foot/ankle (trying to jump over it). They did a great job. You could not even tell that there was ever a dent and I drove it for a couple more years after that before I traded for the 8 with no paint chipping, etc.

there's a place here in town called Dentworks that does amazing stuff, their website is here:
http://www.dentworks.com/
you should check out the pics on their site, some of the stuff they repaired even went beyond standard hail dings so if you're struggling to find a place they might be worth the drive for you

They have a website too at http://www.sutherlandautobody.com, I'd recommend them over any other shop in town hands down.
