Kane tunes with SARX
Hello All, I cannot find the thread documenting the goings on of this session + a bunch of stuff has changed.
Dates: September 14th-16th with the proposed class being on the 15th.
POC: Scott or I, If you don't have our number send us a PM.
Where: The rally point will be the SARX garage. If you dont know where it is... well that sucks for you. The current proposed class is at Cornholio's place of work.
Price: $100 NA or $200 FI + a fee for Kanes travel and stay that SARX paid for. They payment for travel fees will be on a slope pending on how many people sign up. Final fee will be determined after all have signed up. So far it is looking like $140 on top of kanes fees if seven people pay and show up.
Payment: You can send Kane a direct payment for tuning and give me the money for travel or send me full payment. Remember paypal has a 3% fee if sending Kane or me the money include the paypal fee.
There will be a huge build up prepping for this. Expect lots of time in the next few weeks wrenching. I hope to get Raul full ready for this. If anyone needs a hand with anything or has any questions just let me know! We are limiting the tuning session to 7 people. More may be able to come to the class but please contact me if interested in just the class.

Yea I have a turbo to slap on, Hoss has an engine and turbo to install, Houston has a rebuild to finish and install...
Its crunch time! But with the power of sandwich, stuffed jalapenos and coffee we can do anything.

Also guys, it is highly recommended that you bring your laptop with Access Tuner Race and your AP manager already installed. If you need help with all that let me know. If you have ATR installed on your desktop (Houstonrx8er) then you will have to get a study buddy and take notes

If you don't use Cobb, that's fine just bring your laptop (with whatever software you use), some note taking material and a lot of questions. The class materials will run 50+ pages per person. Non-Cobb / Non-Rotary can attend as well, if there are any. More than 12 though gets pretty hairy.
14th evening will be more of the social/mechanical check of the cars time.
15th from about 1000-UTC is the training (which will include some tuning time)
16th from 0800-1700 is hands on tuning practice / Kane fine tuning the FI guys.
Last time I taught this it took about 4-5 hours, not including the hands on, so expect a long-ish Saturday.
Before I book the flight, if anyone is adamant about a longer Sunday let me know, so I can book an early Monday flight. I'll wait until COB tomorrow to make the call.
Since it was put out, if you want to pay me directly that is fine, if not just get with Hoss-05

It would be great if we could drag the tuning out a bit on sunday. Scott, Shady and my set up are all very different then the norm. Scotts FI and engine set up should actually be not to different from your own.
Drink preference?
