For all of you guys out there in the dallas/ fort worth area...
Sorry for being late and unexpected with this, but i have just come across a car meet that my friend is beginning to put together, and it will be at lake dallas this coming wednesday from noon 'til closing of the lake, which is 10 I believe. There is an entrance fee to enter, the park just asks for $1 a person.
Directions are pretty straight forward: You are trying to get to Lake Dallas
if u are going north on I-35 E, take the exit onto Denton Dr. Take a right onto Main Street, and go all the way (it is a long street, it dead ends into the park). There will be drive through where u pay the $1/person toll, and then it will enter the park.
It shouldnt be hard to find a pack of cars, they are expecting an outcome of 30+ people. I do know that ppl from at the VERY least ClubRSX and DallasImports are going, so it isnt just a few people. Please invite anyone else who would like to come, like i said, there isnt a specific time u have to be there, as long as ur there. Bring as much food as you would like, they do have plenty of grills. Fishing poles are allowed (they dont check for fishing licenses from what an employee said
).
If u are interested in going, i would like to know, i do enjoy seeing a few fellow members attending, and dont mind showing the way if anyone needs some help getting there.
questions? leave a message
if im not on, i have an aim account- "Whiteboi2189" leave a message here
P.S. I work until 1 wednesday, meaning i will not be one of the first out there, but i will eventually get out there.

thats why it is all day, for people who cant show up in the day time, they can be there later in the evening. It is a lake, people can go there to fish, bbq, boat, sports, etc... why not go out there during the day? it is open to anyone, a few of us do have spring break, people may not be working during the day, etc...
it isnt just a car meet, it is also a place for everyone to enjoy the outside, as long as the weather complies.

Heads up on the fishing... why the park may not check, a game warden will. Best to be on the safe side if you intend to fish and get your license if you haven't already.
