Super SWEET CAR TOO!!! I been having a slow leak in my rear pass. side tire. I learned one thing. Dont slime the tire. It will stop up the tps. Took it to walmart sunday. They took it apart and I was thinkin it was leakin from a plug that i found on it. So i had them patch it up. Went to Oreilleys and ordered a new tps for 70 bucks. It wont be in till weds. So I took the tire and rim back to the house and unloaded it(took it up there in a truck). Then thats when i saw a crack in the rim. So new im searchin on car-part dot com for a rim. It was holding air for about a day then half a day. I also found out that my car does not have the right size tires on it. It has 225-40-18's on it. I dunno if i am gonna go on and get me some new tires in about a month or just get new tires and rims . dunno what to do. guess im gonna have to sleep on it.lol

Thanks! I've been working on it a little bit at a time. I'm still not done.

I've got an extra rim at the house that you can have if you want it. The only thing is that it's out of round so you'd have to have someone fix that. It was on my car when I had my wreck back in '05.

I've known several owners who have run that size tire and haven't had any problems. I decided to stick with the original though. I've got to order new tires for mine in the next couple of weeks so I can have them mounted before I make the trip to Dragon in September. I've been running these for just over 2 years and have had no complaints.

Yep, it's warped a little. LOL... I had almost $20k in damage the first time I had a wreck and about $13k the second time. I LOVE my baby though... I walked away without a scratch both times. I don't wanna have ANY MORE of those!

I see that the cabin in the 8's protect the driver real well. It might be a snug fit in the car but thats what i like a snug fit. Main reason I got rid of the old xtreme dime and got back into a lil sports car. Were did u get the eyebrows from? Im thinkin on the rim. I might get it. I might be able to jb weld the crack in mine. dunno. Shreveport pipes has the polished rim and a couple in texas has them too. But i dont want to mismatch them. Im still waiting on a couple more in texas to get back with me on there stock of the dull finish rims

I bought the eyebrows from someone on ebay. I wanted the EVO's, but the guy that sells them on here sucks at getting people their orders after they've paid. I happen to know of 2 other places where you can get some though. One of them is an owner on here and if I'm not mistaken his are carbon fiber. I'll have to double check though. One of the members over on 8Web has just started making them, too.

Let's just say rain and not being able to see around an SUV don't make for a good situation. I could see the traffic light just past the SUV and didn't see anything coming my direction (from a distance), however, a car had come from the side street. I turned across traffic and was almost across when I got hit in the rear passenger side quarter panel & door. The impact pushed me on over the curb into the parking lot and right on into a big metal pole with the quarter panel and rear door on the other side of my car. My passenger side rim was just sort of hanging on, as well. The other driver tried to avoid hitting me, but the road was wet so that didn't work out so well. I tried to speed up to get into the parking lot, but that didn't work out so well either. Soooooooooooo...... there you have it!

I've never entered an all-out car show. What does "all" mean? How many cars are usually there?

i didnt go last year but i heard it was the largest so far. I think it turned out close to 300. It got so big that they said it was gonna be a two day event this year. They have several classes. If they know that there were gonna be a few mazdas they would open a mazda class, like they have a mitsu and honda class. All means all manufactures. They use no not have a corvette and donk class, but a handful of them showed up so they opened up classes for them. For under construction the vehicle has to be if i remember right..80% primered up. Specail interest could be like a uniqe vehicle ... would be something that tickeled their and the veiwers fancy, maybe a semi, a boat, a ww1 jeep, or maybe a decked out 8 lol( i know there has never been a honda win that class). As mini stuff (aka point they will call it) u have done to your car. It would fall under Mazda wild. Then you would also have the chance of winning..Import Wild..special interest.. and best of show. They also have car club trophies too. They give those out to whatever car club has the most entries. Mild class I think are cars that has about maybe 4 to 5 things modded on it. Wild would be more than that.

Interesting. I'll have to decide in a hurry whether or not I want to give it a try then, right?! The only "shows" I've had mine in so far have all been "rotary only" events.
