Exclamation need a shop to install springs

as the title states, I need a reliable shop to install my lowering springs. I checked the shops that are around where I live but they all want to charge above $300. So a place that doesn't charge quite as much would be highly commendable and appreciated. -thanks.

I'm not in that area but I think it's a 5-6 hr labor charge for the install so finding 300 or less might be tough. Maybe a club member can help you out instead. I had mine done at a shop and it cost around 500 or so but they did an alignment as well at the same time.

It isn't hard and you can do it yourself (probably). Only tool that isn't a ratchet/socket/wrench/screwdriver that you need is a spring compressor and you can rent that at Autozone ($40ish and they give it back when you return it). Follow the DIY's from the forum and it's a walk in the park. I've done my car 3-4 times now lol.

I did mine myself with some fellow club members, all it cost me was pizza and beer.

The thing is live in a condo where the driveway is very small and steep and have no garage space available. In addition, I have no jacks and all the other tools required. not to mention that is really cold to work outside.

Yo I have a house and garage... willing to do it for free if you rent the spring compressor from autozone ($50 deposit or something). I did my own over a year ago so we could tackle the project together (I somewhat forgot how).

I have all the tools too...

I've been looking for a shop to install springs too.... maybe we should get an install day for everybody in the area if enough people need to install other mods?

springs are a cake walk on our car shouldnt take more than 4 hours or so depending on beer breaks and smoke breaks. also the deposit at autozone is 55 for the compressors and you get a full refund when you bring it back so its basically free to rent the tool.

That sounds very good Ross, perhaps we can have an install day. I'll pay for the snacks and some liquor. when is everyone available?
