wassup again I was told by the dealership that I dont have enough credit history even though I have a 720 beacon so I need a 10000 down payment so I am waiting another 2 months til I have that to put down. I have decided I will be getting the R3 if I have to put that much down.

So after doing a little reading up i have determined that my car *2006 6spd* and higher model 6 spds are the same as the R3.....The only actual difference is the outer appearance *which i think is a slight downgrade from the older look* and the *yes i will drool over this for months* recaro seats.......

So if anyone *looks at J* buys and R3 i'll trade seats with u...=)

 

I'm not going to get one until mid next year. Plus, I might get into the recaro seats and hate them. Need to wait to see. And I may like the 6spd sport better. I dunno yet. But you'll be more than welcome to look in the car and drool over the seats. Don't want to let you drool on them, though.

Fits just fine... I have a little rubbing only when theres weight in my trunk but mine is lowered a little due to the Koni's and my rear offset is deep.
You should be ok. *Edit* My rear wheels are 9.5" btw so 8.5's with the stock offset should be perfect. FYI... The car will handle differently w/19's though.

lol, thanks.. i didn't get staggered rims because the only offset in the rim i chose was a +20 mm which would supposedly stick out horribly.. i have the rims on now, and of course they aren't anywhere near rubbing up front or anything.. i read the forums too much

npr sucked btw. got there and the chee weez was great as usual but the track was dark! literally... the races were over, it was all shut down. we drove out to belle rose just for chee weez when they were playing at a local fair the next day. err... oh well.

glad to see everyone did well w/the storms. i washed the cob webs off my 8, patched a slow leak in one of the tires and put a slow charge (1.5days!) on my dead optima so i could take it to evacuate. i did not want to leave it behind! my 04 with my mods, sentimental value etc could never be replaced. but i ended up having emergency surgery (im fine, dont ask) right before so i had to drive a benz bc i couldnt drive stick w/stitches! needless to say, ive been makin time for my 8 lately. i always knew it was my favorite car but i only drove it like 3-4 times since i bought the C350 in april, yeah yeah i know better

i came very very very close to buying a FD btw- a heavily modified 93 R1 T78 single turbo'd beast! sigh...

harvey is right outside of new orleans. depending on if you continue to I-10 (5 min past cbd) or of you take 310 to hwy 90 then it's before the city. my zip is 70058 if you wanna mapquest it. fox and hound zip is 70123 and the lakefront is about a 10-15 min ride from there.
