WildmanRacing Winning Blue Pics
OK folks, you asked for pics...here ya go.
![](http://members.***.net/rx8speed/NavScreen.JPG)
Color's a little off. The Skin is acutally a nice dark metalic gray.
![](http://members.***.net/rx8speed/Console.JPG)
Everything still looks OEM.
![](http://members.***.net/rx8speed/SwitchUSB.JPG)
Round switch to disable the computer, a perfect fit in the cig. lighter. Also the bluetooth bug and extra USB port.
![](http://members.***.net/rx8speed/CPU.JPG)
CPU hidden in the rear storage compartment.
![](http://members.***.net/rx8speed/Hidden.JPG)
See, no evidence.
![](http://members.***.net/rx8speed/Nav.JPG)
Built in Nav.
![](http://members.***.net/rx8speed/OBDII.JPG)
OBDII straight from the ELM327. This one shows the right skin color.
![](http://members.***.net/rx8speed/PaintedCalipers.JPG)
You've all seen my painted calipers..
![](http://members.***.net/rx8speed/FrontWheelSpacer.JPG)
![](http://members.***.net/rx8speed/RearWheelSpacer.JPG)
Front and rear wheel spacers....with the 45mm offset, plus the 25mm spacer, that's 20 mm offset total with stock size tires.
![](http://members.***.net/rx8speed/MSDLS7.JPG)
My custom MSD coils. I bought the right plugs and soldered everything in solid. I have another harness to swap in the original coil (but why), and the GM coils also work.

Playing a widescreen HD version of the new KnightRider...yea it's lame, but it shows the quality.

Hey,
I built this all from scratch, except for the nav hood of course....I'd say the whole set-up cost $800-$1000. That includes the 1.6Ghz Atom board, 7" video, XM, OBDII, GPS, MP3, Bluetooth, Wireless Internet (Alltel), Car2PC (for controlling the computer from the steering wheel controls), and LOTS of WIRES down the tunnel (under the console). I got the OEM nav hood off ebay for about $300 and I still have the OEM LCD and controller boards if anyone has a cracked one. I never could get the controller board to rasie and lower the screen to my satisfactoin, so I built my own controller board. (with a little help from people on the forum.)
The calipers, rotors and guards weren't too bad. I cleaned them and sanded them on the car. Them masked and painted one at a time. Course I had to take the callipers off to clean and paint them, but they needed it anyway.
