so i met 300fps today.....and we came up with an idea......how bout a rx8club crawfish boil. Can be just us or we can invite the rx7forum guys to and other mazdas...etc.....sound like a good idea?

oh and eric *i think it was, 300fps*....girls who drive rx8's = bad news....with the exception of monique...=)

any weekend except for April 19/20th and May 17/18th are good for me. I'll be in grand isle fishing those weekends if anyone wants to tag along *camping on the beach*....Zzzzz so throw out when works best for each of u and we can go from there.

 

O yea, also....about where to do it. We can either...do it at my place, or anyone else who has plenty space. Or we can go somewhere like Fontainblue State Park *right near my place* which has area where u can have boils/bbqs/etc.....any idea on this?

 

Your place or the park is doesn't matter. Just need people to show. Everybody needs to clear a weekend for this.

Yeah I think a park would be best (i.e parking and such) .... I haven't been to Fountainbleu so I don't know what their set up is... I know that Fritchie park in the Dirty Dell has an area that would be ok for a boil. I just don't know if they are naziesque about actually using the park for activities.

Anyone got prices on putting on a boil? Also, are we gonna invite the RX7 boys out ( I think this is a great idea)?

 

Well we have to wait tnl easter is over to get prices...cause prices are inflated big time for easter weekend. I think we should invite the 7 boys, and any other mazda owners as well. Fontainblue has a pretty nice setup. Its a pavilion and theres plenty of parking, but you have to pre reserver it. So we need a date. If not, i have a big yard with, tons of space *6 acres worth*, and have had meets from other car sites before so thats cool.

 

so i was thinking, what about saturday april 13 or saturday april 20th?

Got my Menzerna kit in yesterday. Hopefully I can have fun with it before the meet. Meh...crawfish? I'd prefer a BBQ. I've had too many crawfish lately. Amazingly, I'm burned out on crawfish.

i can. its easy as pie.....I also have a pot and a burner, but if we go somewhere other than my house, i hope someone else doesn't mind bringing a burner, cause mine is to covered in ash and soot to put in my car....unless i have to.

Also, dunno if u guys noticed aprl 13th is a sunday not a saturday,,,,you i need to know if you all wanna do it on saturday the 12 or SUNDAY the 13th....haha...sorry for the date screwup.
