New Orleans and Baton Rouge

She's been super busy.
On another note, Yay! I finally changed out the center a/c vent. It was a lot easier than I thought. The center console pretty much just pops up, the ash tray holder is easy to get out, and the radio was not that difficult to get out, although I was unable to disconnect the multi-pin connector, but I really didn't need the room/the radio completely removed, to get the a/c vent out.
And hopefully I'm getting new paint on weekend after next.

Oh, lol you know whats crazy? Just last night my front window defrost button cracked. How did It happen? I have no idea.
I don't apply that much force when pressing it.
Imma go to Ducote and see what Keith can do.
Also, I got my small-lettered Mazdaspeed B-Pillars on. It looks GREAT! Will take pics soon.

It was a smooth transaction all the way from Scotland. Took me 5 business days.

Keith said to bring it by Ducote, but I need to make time to get over there. And it's difficult to do that in the morning when the 3 year old wants to stay up all night whining and crying.

Hello All,
I just wanted you to know that I finally got my RB Exhaust and Sway Bars on. So far, I really like them. I still need to get the Springs on however.
I'm with Tony...the rain needs to stop!!!

How do you like the sound of the RB Exhaust? I still can't decide if I want to get the RB or the TurboX or whatever it's called. I'm just a little disappointed that the mods I have done, I have not noticed any increase in HP...well, teh butt dyno doesn't notice a difference. Maybe I have to get the RB flash to really notice anything.
Either that, or just sell what I have and go FI.

Skwidd,
I really like the exhaust a lot. I was looking for an exhaust syste that was not too loud and this (for me) fits the bill perfectly.
None of the individual mods are going to give you an "Oh My God !!!" experience. Everything with the RX8 (other than FI) is subtle, I now have the RB Flash, Exhaust,Intake and individually they were ok, but together they have made a noticeanle difference.
Good luck!

Few Updates
Hey all, been pretty quite on here lately. I've been busy though.
Let's see, my car got backed over by a huge truck, while it was parked. No sign of the truck. How did I know it was a huge truck you say? The large dent was only in the hood, missed the bumper. Anyways, had that and my rear quarter fixed, which amounted to painting the whole car by the time they were done.
So now my paint and body are very fine. I then rodded out my cat....sweet....and added an new Forza Tuning exhaust. Great sound, barely more than stock until you open it up, with a lot better pull on top and in 3rd and 4th.
Next, I made my own oil cooler screens (6$) and my own front lower grill ($20). Then I did some rear inserts, and a Rotor Brake light (again from scratch) Check'm out.

We need to plan another get together.....who's game??

Currently I been having a dispute about the 19" volks that I bought. Its been a month and a half now and still no rims. I bought it from a forum member that has been on for a while. I just escalated the claim to paypal and hopefully they do something about it. I was trying to surprise ya'll in the mix but evidently things sucked on my end.
