ok well i got the coilovers on, and wow what a drop...almost 5 in of drop from these and still a very smooth and well controlled ride. and the handling is AWSOME

pics arent the best but i'll take better ones when i get it alligned and washed next week.

Anyway. I met a girl at the lakefront today *and yes she is cute*, but she drives a red RX8. This indirectly gave me an opertunity to take some better pics of the car since putting the new suspension on. so enjoy:

 

My puddle lights shipped yesterday. He hasn't shipped yours yet. I need to see when I'll have time to install mine. And my car is dirty. You guys look like you just washed yours for the photoshoot. ;p

Man, that car is waaaaaaaaay too low. Dont drive in NOLA. You'll bottom out everywhere.

 

lol i know, its low as hell, i bottom out just leaving my driveway *i'll have that fixed tomarrow afternoon*. and trust me my car is filthy.....notice the mud splashes behind the tires...lol

She will be joining the forum soon, that is if she talks to me again...lol But she is really exhited to have met me and ****...so we should be getting a new member to chat with here...lol

O and lets not forget my friend ricky who pissed me off SOOOOOO much cause he refused to get out the car while we took pictures...that i almost beat his *** when i left.....

I acutally didn't notice the mud splashes. However, upon second look, your 8 could really use a session with the PC DA buffer. The chick's car is shinier than yours. ;p

Hi Mike. How are things going?

Yo, puddle lights arrived today. They look well constructed. The plastic is heavier, more substantial, than I thought. I hooked them up to a 12V converter I have to test them out.

Anyways, if I get to them this weekend, I do. If not, let's see about having a little install party. I'll see if we can go to a friend's body shop so we'll have the proper tools and persons to provide guidance if we have any issues. I'm sure he could let us have a little space either in the shop or in the parking lot to do the install.

 

sounds good. We can install them at my friend's tint and audio shop in mandeville if need be. I know he won't mind =)

That is....when my lights come in....lol

i've never really messed with online car forums, so i'm not sure what proper online car forum etiquette is.. i mean, i've messed with srtforums before; i bought a few parts off of a local guy...

i say we cruise i-10 to the city and wait for other rx-8's to join up.. hehe

 

Just don't try to recruit females when RXH8TED is around. He's already failed miserably at least once that we know of.

Mine arrived last week. I haven't had a chance to even think about installing since I'm still trudging along working on making the new house to my liking. This weekend is most likely out of the question. Just keep in touch and either you will install yours first, or we'll have an install party on day before next year.

Actually, I think I might want to get this done before Mardi Gras, so let's play it by ear.

well, i'm a really laid back individual.. i'll participate in whatever comes my way

as far as my car, i have a titanium gray 2004

but, it looks like i just got some bad news from my garage floor.. apparently, i left my car in the garage for 3 days and a quarter size spot of green fluid was on the floor.. tried to smell the coolant smell, and couldn't, but i'm pretty sure it was coolant

i checked the overflow hose, nothing, so i'm thinking it might be a new engine/rebuild from mazda for me.. sucks ***, but it's my luck

i keep leaving boards and stuff under my car and no more has leaked.. i'm changing out my oil this weekend and i'll inspect the **** out of it from underneath
