It should be a drivers race with 1 and 2 stock for stock. Both 1 and 2 have better gains with bolt ons and such compared to the 8 though. 3 you have no chance with the aftermarket the 8 has now for NA tuning, unless u want to blow big bucks that is........ NOS should be the easy way to go i guess? Im not much of a NOS guy myself so dont take my word for it.

I've never lost to Stock S2000 or RSX Type S yet. These are in deed drivers races though. Hey Legend, are you William? I know Justin and all those other people.

Yes I am William. I am Justin's brother. Impressive that you've never lost to a stock s2000! Props man! RSX Type S is about even if you start from 40 roll. Is your car stock? Check your messages for my pm.

really? A close friend of mine owned a "working" S2000, until he somehow internally broke something... All he had was exhaust, and that car would always pull on mine, only when we would leave 1st gear though...

Another close friend of mine has a Mazda Mx-5 completely stock. We would track before and after each time I did a modification... It wasn't timed, but when I was stock he would always pull 2-3 car lengths by the time we hit 90... Now with all I've done I pull 1-2 on him. Than again neither of us have had a track day where we can both agree that our cars seem fully powered...

I only had the chance too track with him when I was stock... I really don't remember, but it would always make me sad, then look at my extra 2 seats and send my middle finger out the window...

That's about 6 car lengths by the time we hit 110...

it's a faster car in the straights no doubt.. and no slower than the eight in cornering.. that's why i consider it a better comparison to the 8 than the z

yea but with that in mind s2000 still has an advantage if both drivers are at level with each other...

ive only ran one s2k. He is a friend of mine and only has an AEM cold air intake. We took off in first at around 15mph. It was dead even until I heard his vtec hit then he slowly walked by and continued to walk by........

in my opinion, and its only that, the s2k is definately quicker than an 8. The rsx-s is a drivers race with the rx8 though.

Him and I both dynoed our cars on a dyno dynamics. I pulled 167.8 and he pulled about 190 if im remembering right........

not anytime soon man, for right now i can only day dream. The only reason why i think those cars are rice rockets, well...because they are. Just take a look at the evo, everything thing about it screams out azn pride rice rocket. Although i do respect the performance part about the car, but its just darn right ugly. I have to admit that an rsx-s looks way better than any evo

I'd kinda like to show up, but I don't know any of the local owners personally, and my car is bone stock and filthy inside & out.... I'd just feel outta place.

Maybe I'll show up to one of these on a later date when I finally get off my *** and make my car look like it didn't just run a 24 hour baja race...

I think I finally fixed my awkward engine sound during WOT/hot temperature's... I always used either Exxon or Shell, and since I had my ECU re-flashed I always used 87 octane. Well, ever since then my engine would make an awkward sound (as if I could hear each individual combustion) coming from the engine bay. This sound would only seem too occur on hot days though. So I made the decision too change too 93 octane... Now I can definitely hear a difference, and that damned sound has completely gone away.

I'm posting all this because I was afraid I'd show my car to everybody on this thread and then become a disappointment (because lately that's what my car has felt like on a hot day). But now after some thorough "pedal too the metal" driving I'm pretty convinced that the octane was the issue.

hm I read around about this before. Some people had weird noises when using lower octane. I've only used 93

The forums are broken and I can't view the previous pages for some reason...
...could someone please re-notify me where this meeting is taking place should I muster up the courage to show up?
