"North" Houston mini-meet/mini-race -- Nov 15th
What
For the first time ever, the North Houston meet will actually involve an activity other than standing around and chatting. Instead, we will be sitting 2 inches from the ground, flying around tight turns at 1+ lateral g's, fighting for fastest lap times. In other words, right where we want to be

These are not those little gokarts you find at miniture golf courses where the only requirement is that you have 4 functioning limbs and are taller than 4' tall. These things haul ***, corner hard, and require a drivers license, head protection, and a saftey course.

Thursday, November 15th
Their reduced pricing (happy hour) lasts from 15:00 - 18:00, so we will try to get as many races within that time period as we can.
This place frequently hold birthday parties that rent out the track for an hour. There is nothing we can do about this. If we show up and there's a party there, then we will have to wait until they are gone. The only way to avoid this is to rent out the track ourselves. However...
Cost of renting track / Only 6 or 7 people = Too Effing Much.
I realize most of you work during this time, so if you can't go I understand. I'd hold it later if I could, but It's $18 per race outside of the happy hour, which I don't think anyone would pay :/

Sorry is has to be on a day that almost everyone works. Anytime outside of the 15:00-18:00 Mon-Thurs window is $18 a race, which is just too damn much.

dude this place is fun as hell and not at all a good place to just mess around and act stupid!!! i got t-boned and my back hurt for weeks!! but when you get down into it it is friggin fun as hell... and im off on thursdays
