Had a nice time, met some excellent people, and enjoyed the car talk for a few hours today at the meet.

Great meeting you guys!

Only got a few pics but they're attached. Sorry about the size of the panorama shot... Wife had the picture size set to small. Oops.

The one of you guys leaving the parking lot didn't come out.

Cheers

Ryan

I had a great time yesterday and met some great people! Like they say, "Rome wasn't built in day." Hopefully this will spark more people's interest and we can build our local RX community into something truly amazing.

Well damn! I wish I would have come. I was working on my car all day yesterday. This would have been fun. I REALLY want to look at the RX-7.

I was working on fixing this problem based on popular opinion that I am stupid for thinking it was going to look cool.

I've always liked the way matte black looked on these cars... plasti-dipped?

Yes it is. Thought I would give it the ol' 40 dollar paint job. I have since done the entire car. It will peel off when I decide to take it off, but I don't mind it at the moment.

Thank you Oni. Merry Christmas to you! I got a 1/64 scale keychain model of my RX8. I plan to use it for interesting pictures when the weather gets nicer.

How is the plastidip holding up? I recently removed the old nasty leather from FC shift ****, did some pistol grip-ish kinda of contours and plastidipped it. So far I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Hey everyone I just want to stop by and let you all know about a more local rotary forum. It's 417rotary.com. They're based out of Missouri. There's good information on meets and events coming up this year around the Missouri area. Go check it out and register on the forum.

The plasti-dip holds up perfectly. I started to take it off of the majority of my car while the weather was cold. It comes off easy when it is cold. I am just leaving subtle accents black. I had the whole car black for the snow, and it looked badass. When I went to scrape snow off my car the paint started peeling off mainly because of how cold it was. So I just kept going.

Hey guys! I'm back with some news that I am interested in SELLING my 2010 R3. Any Rotary people will understand how special this car is. Now I love this car and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I just really miss having a truck. Retail on this thing is about $22,500...but I am going to ask 20 even. I am giving you all the first opportunity to buy it before I go public!

I agree! We need to wait for McKennaR to get his car on the road before we have another meet. On a side note I've been seeing a yellow 8 cruising around Fayetteville. Anyone know who it is or if they're on the forum?
