Wait wait wait... you bought a $30 hardwiring kit!? All you need is a foot long strip of phone cord with one end intact. Then you just wire the other end to your map lights...done.

Bought a 6 dollar hard wiring kit
I want it into the homelink system not the map lights
also got 8000k HIDs that I need to install and white fog lights
Anybody have a spare left fog light housing lying around? Mine may be leaking.

Based on how much y'all are looking to install, I would recommend getting some work gloves. They have them at Autozone for about $25, or you can get something close at Home Depot for about $10. I know after all the stuff we did yesterday, they would have made a huge difference. After a full day of working on multiple cars, your hands will feel it.

Good luck this coming weekend and have fun! There better be pictures!

How late are ya'll going to be installing? I have orientation for UTI in coppell on that saturday but its in the morning. I just installed my revi intake, duct, borla exhaust, spark plugs. I have Hawk HPS pads and SS brake lines left to install before the texas 8 meet and i also want to replace my fluids. If yall are going into the evening then id much rather install with some 8 people rather than myself lol.

I have to do my pads, brake fluid and SS brake lines as well so no worries, come over as soon as you can as we should still be able to help you out. And I dont remember but have you signed up for the Texas 8 yet?

If you talked to a Tawny at Town North, then you either called the wrong place or it's someone new.

There's 3 people at Town North: Penny, (who most seem to talk to), Victor (who I work with), and then I believe the guy's name is Mike. No Tawny...

Just curious, why go all the way to TNM when classic is probably closer?

Also just FYI, my 4th gear grinds as well (but from 3rd to 4th) but only at high RPMS, and I've never not had it go in (thats what she said), well unless I was being stupid and wasnt applying enough pressue. I've seen alot of other threads on the boards about exactly my issue, but I'm not exactly sure what it was.

TNM because ive heard alot of good things about them and I dont mind driving the extra mile to get good service.

We get parts discounts with Freeman Mazda and everytime I have had my car serviced there they have impressed me. You guys may want to try them out as well seeing they are a sponsor to our RX8 event.
