yes. you can do an ls1 swap. you can do a 3rotor swap. you obviously don't know too much yet and havent read enough. so if you have like 10-40grand just take it to a shop and tell them what you want done.

smdh....u can get slapped for even thinking about this..ur not riding a civic here, u cant expect 2 out any engine u want in this car and not expect people besides u 2 love it..and that swap aint cheap at all, i say do a little more research...and im sure that 90% of the people who got an 8 knew they were getting the strongest car in the world..and if u wanna do a good expensive engine swap just get a 3 rotor..thats what i want eventually..or turbo for cheaper

Most turbo kits (after tuning) will run you $6K+ no problem. You have $6K sitting around to drop on your 8? LS1 swaps are even more, and 20B swaps are EVEN MORE. Best mods to increase power is RB header, catless midpipe, Cobb AP, and BHR Ignition.

I remember when they first came out someone posted a dyno showing before and after. Picked up 7 whp or something crazy. I'm not sure if they discovered some other magical change but I'm pretty sure it picked up power lol.

What's wrong with your fuel pump? The stock one is fine for DD, but for track or auto-x you should upgrade.

i wanna start doing auto-x..and my friends are teaching me drifting..lol..which apparently is a pain in the *** in a ******* 8! lol..its alot easier in a 240

Honestly, I used to be into auto-x, and I never reached a fuel cutoff unless you're below 1/4 tank. When the car is in a hard left turn (IIRC) and low on fuel, the pump can't get fuel to the engine. Just remember to have at least a half tank before you auto-x and you'll be fine. Just trying to save you some money man
