I called Freeman Mazda about the sound my car was making he said it sounded like the Throw out bearing and that I should just replace the clutch since they have to take it off to repair it and the cost would be $1,150 I feel like I'm about to get hosed does anyone know how much I should be paying for this kind of repair.

The Jew (before your time here) went through 3 throwout bearings and nothing really seemed to help. They are noisy with our cars, but I guess after a point they can malfunction. simple Noise is normal

Well it depends on how loud it is and whether you can feel it. Mine whirrs and isn't noticeable unless I'm in a quiet location.

The prune juice he drinks at 4am is kicking in around the same time, so he doesn't want to take a chance with his Depends.

Definitely call RP first. I was quoted something close to that for a transmission rebuild including 2 new syncros.

PS. Hi kids!

Not a valid excuse. My wife and I have an 8 month old and this has affected our social life very little. Time management is the key.

Duly noted. Kerrville, 1st weekend in April?
I may need a shop day for brakes prior, but it's possibly doable.
