At this point the likelihood of the track day happening is slim to none because of posts from you and everyone else.

If we can't all get along and play nice then there is no reason to invite others to our dysfunction.

From me?...Please...Explain...Fully...As a matter of fact, quote every one of my posts on that thread, and explain how they could be the cause of a track day fail...Because if what little I said (which gave both pros and cons to the track day idea) could cause the whole track day idea to be a fail, then I applaud myself...I should be a dictator if my words are that powerful...Don't go stroking my ego now...

I must have missed the part where we became destitute and were begging people to come to a track day.

9K made some joking quips, you hear worse than that at a meet 10x over.

I can speak for myself as to why I don't attend Mazda meets, and it has everything to do with idiot drivers. As I said, that was 3 years ago, so I'm sure some folks have changed, but I'd gone multiple times and had no desire to continue.

You went to a DFW Mazdas meet? I don't remember seeing any 8's at our meets 3 years ago and I've been around since 2005.

I never once said begged...I said quick to accept...You guy twist words around more frequently than a 13 year old girl.

You remember Brandon King? It was around the time he was down here. Might have been 4 years ago (they say the memory goes first).

That's not fair to 13 year old girls.

And, sure, you didn't say begged, but your tone did.

What's to explain? You were negative about the meet from the beginning. It snowballed into others being negative (though I'm not going to argue it was from your example) You joined the meet, and then just as quickly left. You were not the sole problem and I said as much in my post, " you AND everyone else" Maybe you should think a little on who is twisting whose words....

I gave both pros and cons...pros were the safety concers and lack of tickets, cons were getting enough people.

I understand how stressful it is to plan something and not have others agree, but feel like they aren't placing any input...Believe me...It sucks...But realize this, the people you most often get angry or annoyed at are usually the ones giving the most input...You may not agree with it, but appreciate the fact that they're thinking about it that much.

I didn't ask for input. I asked for interest (to get a head count to see if it was even possible) Creto taught me long ago that it was stupid to ask for people's opinions. Try as I might I still end up with them.

Nah don't remember him either. Where were we meeting when yall came out?

Most people who act retarded don't hang around for very long anyway. Our group now is around 2-3yrs active with a lot of new people who joined in '11. We have 3's, a couple of 6's, Miata's, CX7's, and Protege's in attendance. Everyone seems to have a really good time. For some reason though, 8's have never really made an attempt to get to know us with the exception of 4 of yall.

It's only stupid to ask for people's opinions if they aren't willing to come up with ideas to help...But that's just my experience.

Started at Cheddar's in Irving (635 & Macarthur) and transitioned to Flips in Grapevine. That was the last I followed it.

That wasn't a DFW Mazdas meet. We never met at Cheddars and we didn't start going to Flips until mid 2011.

Why is DFW Mazdas trying so hard to recruit you guys if it is obvious a certain amount of you guys don't want to partake in their events?

I have experienced enough of the DFW Mazda crew on mazdas247 to form my own opinion of them and they rate right up there the Texas Mazda club guys here in San Antonio. That is my opinion, if you don't like it tough Sh#t. Years ago I owned a Mazdaspeed Protege so I know the hater attitude that a lot of other Mazda groups shared towards the RX-7 (mainly FD's, POS FB's and FC's were welcome) and RX-8's. You also get a lot more immature people who act a fool and some people just don't want to be around that type of ****. Luckily the young ricers seem to stray away from the RX-8 or if they do get one used it doesn't seem to last long. I never understood why people cry about people not liking them or being interested in them. If you don't like how the "group" does things then do your own thing and **** off already.

In SARX we get along and don't really have any disagreements because we are all pretty laid back and accepting but in the past we have made it known that certain people were not welcome and they got the hint pretty quick.

It's not about recruiting, I'm just trying to get people who have things in common together. At DFWM, we don't judge you by what you drive or how many mods you have, except for Brandon with the blue RX8. He'll always be our RX8 whipping boy. Haha.

You're quick to make assumptions about what you've read and "experienced" on the internet but that's only a fraction of who people really are. In addition, we have our own forum so the things you read on 24/7 aren't representative of what goes on at DFWM. There are a very small handful of members who post on 24/7 but they aren't really active at our meets anyway. Just because you see someone who's location is in the DFW area doesn't mean they are a part of DFWM.

That being said, everyone is welcome at our meets. The only rule is don't be retarded. You called us ricers but in fact, we're quite the opposite. None of our members rev their car, crank up their stereo, do burnouts, etc. We're not immature either. The majority of us are 25+ with the mean age around 30.

We're going into our 7th year and I just thought it would be nice to try and get more people involved. Sorry for trying to give a damn about RX8's.

wow i never thought asking a couple mazda owners to go to a mazda meet would get someone pantys in a wad.

last time i checked the rx8 was Mazda rx8 and DfwMazdas was for all Mazda owners. or are some of the Rx8 owners thinking there better with there cars then the rest of the mazda owners. or as some chevy people would call the vette owners ***** enhancement tools. is this the same that goes for some rx8 owners that think there better then the rest of mazda owners cause there rx8 owners.

no offense to some rx8 owners i know personally threw sunday night meets and thursday night meets. i know there are some some people in every car club that dont get along and think there better then others

last time i looked though dfwmazdas was open to all hell we have had acura owners ford owners chevy owners dodges. hell there have been old gen one mazdas to current mazdas and noone got singled out. so to say dfwmazdas was recruiting i dont believe it. just casue they invite a gourp to join them in doing something is more of a invite to come hang out not drop one club to go to another .

bit of advice calling the people who go to dfwmazdas young and imature is a slap in the face. and for someone that dont go to there meet should probably attend there meets and see first hand befor talking ****

Time for a subject change.

I played pool with DMX once when I was living in LA...

He told me this, "You need to have faith to survive in this world, I'm gonna preach to you... then rest I don't remember because I was **** faced"

an hour or so later he attempted to show his **** to my attractive big titty'd female friend.

What a night...

P.S. I have the fastest car in the world, its a mazda 3 and I have 300 whp becuase I upgraded to a ms3 starter and spark plugs. I will race any of you for pinks.
