Had to actually look at a few pictures to figure out what the crap you were on about and then realized a little afterwards. I was like that's almost my car... same mileage when I bought it, but mine had tinting, the spoiler, and the spare tire kit... and also cost 6 grand less... Did I mention mine also didn't have a super gay stripe on the sides as well?

According to a local who recently purchased one almost exactly like it...It's just a LeMans 20th anniversary edition.

Says the person who was taking suggestions on putting purple stripes on your old 8...

Pretty sure you aren't allowed to comment about stripes/graphics on cars.

Thing is my previous 8 was straight silver, and it wasn't going to just be purple, it was going to be purple and black and look a hell of lot better than that. Also I will note that actions speak louder than words, and the lack of stripes on my previous 8 speakers louder than any words I ever spoke on the topic...

Yes, actions do speak louder than words, and posting on facebook "ideas" and taking suggestions and ignoring everyone who said it would look terrible, those are actions.

It's not that you decided against it, it's that you could come up with a final design.

Nice try, though.

Yeah, if you are going to do something, do it right the first time. I wanted something as stated and classy as Adam's two black driver side fender stripes. I wasn't able to come up with anything like that, therefore I didn't actually put a stripe on it. Therefore actions (aka not putting a stupid stripe on the car) speak louder than my words (can anyone give me ideas for a car stripe).

Okay, so bumping the thread...

Dyno'd my car a few days ago at Rotary Performance on their Dynojet

Put down 180HP, 130tq on MazdaManiac's 4-5th tune (Although I need to completely retune my 8, this tune has a bug)

I guessed my 8 would put down around this number, even with all my mods... which is why Id like to get my engine rebuilt in about a year by Brian Cain @ BDC motorsports...

I am content though with these numbers although looking at the graph I might have something going on above 7.5K RPMs...
