New motors don't exist...

Well I mean you can get all new components and have a builder assemble them if you really want to... But that's a huge waste of money.

Did you ever get to seafoam?...Also, when did you last change the coils, plugs and wires?...Lastly, what were the RPMs listed?

Don't see the rpm on there. CPW was 9k ago. BHR ignition.

What time are you planning on heading out, hoss -05?

Hey Antonio, have you contacted Team?...Like I said, between he and I, we're pretty much the only people you're going to get help from in this area...In all honesty, he's your best choice for this, having done it multiple times.

Keep in mind, it may or may not be a quick job...Just depends on what you find...Mine turned out to be a 6 hour job with Team.

You dont need to get all gangsta with the install just install the rotors and pads and be done with it.

Its painfully easy.

You're lurking on the wrong thread for meets, buddy...We do have meets...We just had one last week actually...Go find the DFW weekly and monthly meets thread.

My plans for my 8... Its time to get back into my car so I have a project being set up... Trying to be a little more active on the forums as well...

*TeamRX8 has sold me a spare motor with 7K miles on it, original engine etc for a Daryl Drummond rebuild. His motors pretty much speak for themselves.

*Need to buy a new clutch speedbleader

*I need to remove my BHR flywheel and MS clutch/PP so I can ship them to Daryl, but with Team pretty busy I might just end up buying a new clutch and flywheel and sell my used BHR Fly/MS clutch when I pull this current engine...

* Overkill I know, but im probably gonna go with Evans NPG coolant, just for ***** and gigs...

*Change/regrease brake pads with possibly something more for the street (Im on Hawk HP+), considering Hawk Ceramics...

*Going to Advantage Autoworks to get my hood professionally recleared as I got egged... Ill probably have them buff out my headlights as well (oxidation). As much as Id like them to repaint my front bumper, I simply dont have the cash atm with my engine build going on to repaint it.

* Need to fully professionally detail my 8 myself... Should take the whole day and I need to buy like quite a bit new cleaning supplies...

*Have a rattle somewhere in my exhaust and its annoying the living **** out of me. Im not sure if its the BHR midpipe, or maybe an apex seal stuck somewhere or if its my Rev8 exhaust... so to hopefully relieve the issue I bought a Greddy SE exhaust. Its time for a new exhaust sound since the only exhaust Ive ever owned has been the RB Rev8.

*Going for the Titanium theme now, a little less chrome now... Gonna find some Titanium lugs for my RPF1's as well as try to find an ARC titanium column shifter (Would be hella dope)...

*Wouldn't mind getting some new reinforced sway bar brackets...

Basically, since last August I really haven't really paid attention to my 8, so im trying to get myself back into it... College has taken up basically all of my time that I used to spend on my 8...

I still plan to attend a few autoX events and hopefully some track days (as I havent yet gotten my 8 to the track) so If anyone is interested, let me know. I know I already have a few friends (03' Mustang GT and 08' 350Z) interested...

Im sure Im missing a few things but this is all I can think of for the time being...

Think about it... Track you have no cool down period, it's constant WOT...
AutoX your hard on it but it's not WOT for 20+ minute sessions... Besides Mark wouldn't toss me a bad engine... And it's not like Daryl won't replace anything that isn't Race ready... Daryl doesn't build street engines...

It's your money dude, I certainly am in no position to give advice.

I am just offering a third party perspective...

You are buying an engine used only in a race car, built to be a race engine, which costs $10,000+ and has 7k on it. The owner spent $10,000+ on it and is not using it...

You want to put it in a street driven car...

It just doesn't add up... But that's me I have no room to talk at all... Also Team is always right, so you do what you want.

Anwyays, good luck man I really hope it works out should be a fun little car if everything goes to plan.
