ok was just talking to my buddy that recently purchased some sheets (7'x4') of a sturdy metal mesh. Now the one he bought wasn't the cut in circles like the set I have, but looked more like diamond cuts. He did say that the shop he bought it from did have different types to buy. Would anyone here be interested in going in and purchasing some sheets, possibly in just a plain silver and painting it to a suitable color after cutting? I know one metal shop I use to deal with at my previous job has a bender/cutter that we could possibly use after we get a template going.

The sheets run about 26 bucks on average and the cutting would depend on the amount.

Where do I got to get it? I'm in. I found some reasonable deal online but i would like to see it in person. I want something with smooth edges, I don't want to create all kinds of turbulence.

well the place cornhorlio and I got our sets from give you a rubber trim to cover the edges. But I am thinking if we get a local metal shop with a bender, they might be able to roll the edges for a better fitment or we could just get a similar rubber trim.

The holes look better but there is a lot of flat surface so I'm not sure ho restrictive it will be.
