Unfortunately I still think the 8 is down for the count. I haven't heard from that guy in a while, I think he was working on his 7 and there was talk of a piston motor swap at one point for the 8.

Those rims are gross. The car is nice but that price is just a bit too high. But I bet you could get it for 12k or so. The MS kit doesn't add that much to the price, maybe an additional 1500 or so. Mileage is low but the car is coming up on the 8 year warranty so a compression test would be needed. Overall not a bad deal if it hasn't been wrecked, flooded, etc.

Sounds good. Shouldn't take too long. Seems like a couple things might be a bit of a pain, but overall should be a quick install.

A cop is coming over later to have me identify the driver in a line up from that hit and run I witnessed... that should be interesting.

Gauges are not that complicated (hopefully). Is he is gonna show you pictures or what?

Just finished it lol... took like 10 seconds. He had a sheet of like 8-10 pictures and I just had to identify which was the guy. I got it right! lol... I was divided on 2 different guys but leaned towards the one that was the guy. The officer told me that was the one so I'm not sure why it was necessary for me to identify him.

The gauge install is basically 3 wires (ground, power and lights?) and then the T fitting and hose connection. The pod itself is literally a few screws since it just replaces the stock column cover. On this page you can click on the link for "Read VEI installation instructions" to see the instructions:

http://podi.ca/P1Packages.aspx?CarID=8

Fairly generic, but probably sufficient. I'm just not good at identifying which wires need to be tapped (aside from the ground). They say not to tap the FPR line, but every install thing I've seen says to ignore that and do it anyways lol.

Didn't think about it till later on, but he mentioned that the only other picture of the guy was him in an orange shirt so they couldn't use it... wondering if this is the type of shirt they meant:

Anyone know of anyone that has a Front spoiler? The little black plastic piece that runs underneath the bumpers that weren't fortunate enough to have an air dam?

I would check out the the riverwalk expansion for sure and the pearl brewery area. But really it depends what you are into.
