I think painting it a few times with plasti coat would be about the best. Just let me know when you want $$.

Maybe I could get someone to airbrush on hello kitty for me.

Kidding...

Whats the cost?
how much does it weigh?

I might be interested as well, I prefer buying local whenever possible, even if it's only local to Texas

It weighs nothing but I haven't weighed it. Mine is attached to the stock uprights via hex bolts and wing nuts with lock washers so I can drop it and remove it for easy access easily. I will pop it off this weekend and weigh it, but I would guess under 5lbs easy.

Man that would be really nice for our yearly run but the last thing I need is more parts sitting around.

Ha yeah but the next few are going to big ones. The mid pipe, exhaust and rad are all on my short list. The Mid pipe should be there any day now I would guess.

Those can all go on the car right away. I have done so many exhaust installs on RX-8's that it literally takes me 20 minutes tops (unless there are stuck bolts).

He we are all going FI around the same time.

I assume that means we can all rebuild our engines around the same time! Should be fun.

I would love you help rebuilding since you have doen it. I'd like to get crackin' on more stuff but all this little piddly **** keep coming up. Now I am getting the flashing CEL and a P0113 code for high intake temp sensor voltage. Not to mention the actuator on my SSV is rattling due to being loose.

Yea man I'd love to rebuild another engine, so long as its between October and November.

Also I met with the guy from goopy who is looking into re surfacing housings for the renesis. He's had success with the 13b so it should work out well.

I wont be able to reuse mine next rebuild so I'd like to give him a shot and see what numbers I get with them.

honestly I think I could have hit the 225 whp mark if I didnt have so much chrome flake guess we will never know.

REEEAAALLLYYYY, I finally made up my mind on a new exhaust, Borla. Got it from assaulttech. I would think it would be here anyday now, order it a couple weeks ago or so. Probably on the snail fed ex route, via Canada, or some crap. Bad part I leave for NJ on Sunday and then lovely Afghanistan in Jul, oh and I ran over a blown out tire today coming back from Randolph and ripped of the plastic lip and under tray. Awesome day, not. Do you know how much grunge paid to have his replaced when he went over that speed bump?

^ Looks good man. I can't make biffs tonight, my power steering is being gay right now. I was sitting at a light and my steering wheel just turned right all by itself. Good thing I wasn't doing 60 is a turn when it happened.

my power steering has austin tx slacker disease, it only works some of the time and quits for no reason. (haha) I drove my car yesterday and found some curvy roads not far from my house, car ran great, amazing how responsive it is with the new suspension setup, just feels like any slight turn of the wheel will send it darting off in that direction, it's almost too twitchy but it rides nice and is very predictable regardless, it was nice being able to go out for a joyride with no drama too.
