The 2 shops I mentioned would fix it properly, they're pretty much the only 2 places in town I'd ever let touch my car. I have no personal experience with Burly, (I do have a good friend who owns a towing company that knows what's up, plus they have a rep among the car scene here) but I do have collision repair experience with Rebreu, my passenger side rear fender got run into about 3-4 years ago in Corpus and it came out oem quality. I wouldn't point you to a place that doesn't do quality work, whether I've known you 20 years or 20 seconds I still try and help everyone the same, not to mention a personal friend of mine is a body tech at Rebreu who does all the Rx8's (and some amazing hot rod resto's too) so you would be in good hands for sure.

Yep, i was just there today dropping off some interior pieces to have painted, I probably should have posted here first and I could have given them a heads up you might be contacting them, oh well, it's pretty much a given that if an Rx-8 rolls through there it's because of me anyway

their website is www.rebreubody.com and they're a stone's throw from N. Lamar on Kramer.

So I put it down in stone today and I now have a "new" Daily driver.

Its a 2009 VR RX-8 R3. Its price is right and has less then 10k miles. I bought it from Denny/Olddragger/OD I almost bought it awhile ago but the stars were in line and the price was good this time around. This one will be much different then Raul and will stay mostly stock.

Yep it is that one, It should be getting what he called a Rebuilt title. It is not currently running and it was my goal to ship it to San An and fix it myself but the extra cost and hassle associated with shipping a none running car is a big pain and very expensive.

OD is working with me to get it fixed now before it ships or is picked up. I will have more updates next week.

Is OD from Georgia? I met a guy while on a trip to Macon a few years ago when I just bought my 8. Nice guy, had VR with supercharger and he talked about the 8 club.
