Hey Canary thanks for the referral to rebreu just dropped it off we shall see how it comes out!! You know a tech over there right? I want to see if I can get my bumper and side skirts painted while they have the paint mixed. Do you know when hes working next, I want to ask him if he can do that.

My friend Rene is a body tech there, so he handles your actual sheetmetal/repairs/however you want to phrase it type work, With them being slow I don't think it'd be a big ask to get your parts painted and that's done by their painter Danny and you probably want to talk to Jene about it, I'm going by there during my lunch tomorrow and I can give him a heads up then as well.

Going to get my bumper replaced since pieces of metal like to be flying randomly in the freeway.

Nice man well I upgraded to the SUV so I should be able to stop by with them and at least see if they would be willing to paint it.

I talked to Jene a little while ago and he seemed fine with it, I saw your car up close and now I see why you were asking about the repairs etc., Jene was fighting for a supplement for you so they would be billed the correct amount of hours if that tells you anything, any other shop would probably just take whatever the insurance company gives them and make it work just to get the car out etc. My interior pieces came out fantastic so you should be in good shape, are your wheels powder coated or painted?

Awesome! I just got off the phone with Jene. I know allstate low balled it like crazy, if they don't pick up the slack Progressive (my insurance) said they would call allstate and bitch at them. Worst case I'd just file through progressive.

I talked to the adjuster when he wrote up the quote and he said yea well quote to pull that there. I said trust me this will need to get cut and welded, he said they would do another estimate if they couldn't pull it. Guy wasn't the shaprest in the shed.

The wheels are painted they look much better when they are washed, I haven't washed her in almost a month man

I didn't want to deal with questions of why the hell I got a Dorito cake, so I got that instead. It was delicious.

it's all good, I saw your back window and got a good laugh as well hoping to get a lot done on mine this evening, the original designer/builder is coming by to help me get it ready for the show in 10 days, probably going to compete but I'm not expecting much, doing it more to support the scene/show if anything.

You liked that, huh? hahaha, I put that on for sevenstock last year becuase It bascially looks stock or has very little modifications.

I've been meaning to do so many things to my car I have tons of parts waiting to go on. Its just been so hot all I want to do is hang out in the pool.

yeah I hear that, heat has driven me away from my bike and skateboarding big time this year, even just doing minor things like small work on the car in the driveway turn into what feels like running a marathon, guess I'm getting old or lazy or both

I just enjoy staying cool LOL, also I am getting lazier and older.

When presented with the option of drinking a beer on the porch watching the sunset or wrench on a lowered car in a 110 degree garage... Come on now.

I freakin' loved it, that thing sounded awesome, looks insane, the part where he's basically drifting backwards and brings it back around like it's nothing was rad too, to me that video was full of win but then again I drive a bright *** yellow car with a crazy hand painted interior with led's everywhere and liquid cooled amps so maybe there's no accounting for my taste

So who is awake? So, two weeks into having the most beautiful car I've ever had, and guess what I find on my way home? A giant semi truck tire in the middle of 1604 at about 65 mph! There was a truck next to me and it was right past Hausmann on the bridge, so I had no where to go. My Shinka is now missing half of its front bumper and lord only knows what has happened under my car. So with that, who knows a shop in San Antonio? I have no problem driving up to Austin, but my car in this shape it's not exactly on the top of my list of things to do. I want my car to go to the right place, and if it isn't here in SA, then I understand. Please HELP ME. You can call or text if you need, 206-473-9669. I want to start the process today(Friday).

I'm sure there's tons of shops down in SA. Theres more idiot drivers in SA than there is in Austin l so I imagine theres good body shops down there.

I got a good place in Austin if you want to travel up here but I don't think you need to.

Insurance?

I have used Alamo Body and Paint. No complaints. Several locations. But thats where USAA told me to bring the car.

I like Eurasian Auto Repair www.eurasianautorepair.net/ near the airport for repairs. Never had them do body work though.

I had my car fixed at laredo paint and body at fredricksburg and 410 as recommended by 9krpm and they did a perfect job. I'm not sure where I put their number, but I'll post it if I find it.
