What he said I have two minivans at the office and a rotary on a crate fits easily in the back and with two people lifting it in and out is no biggie.

Ok so I have the dreaded"H" pattern starting to crack on the passenger side dash... I have fixed it but it continues to grow. $300 for a replacement from Mazda. I think not! I went to an upholster shop in converse and if take them the panel they will cover it in black textured vinyl for $75. Gonna drop it off to them next week before we leave to the coast and pickup when we get back...

Great, you can be the guinea pig to see how it turns out luckily mine is just a small line but Hoss-05's has gotten slowly bigger into an H.

Mine started as a small one inch crack on the right side of the H and has grown to about three inches. For now I filled it with black silicone which does not look too bad but you can see it! I looked at some of their work online and they seem legit...

This is the first I've heard of this cracking issue... how do so many sarx people have it now? Is it related to heat?

Earlier today some wiring decided to jump into my main fan and make a mess of things. Ended up messing up my serpentine belt and the wiring for both electric fans. Hoping the fans can simply be rewired, though the wiring and part of the belt got wrapped around the main fan, so I'm not sure how much damage that may have done. I've spotted at least one connector that I can't identify that is disconnected as well, so I'm not sure what issues that might cause. I wont have time to work on it for at least a few days, so I'm stuck in a rental and probably going to have a shop replace the serpentine belt and clear the clutch fan, which will hopefully at least get the car back to running condition until I can get around to the other stuff.

Oh damn!!! sorry to hear about that...good luck

no clue on the cracked dash...but I will point out that I never used any armoral or anything of that nature...not sure if that applies to anyone else that has the issue. could be related to the "lack" of UV protection

I'm still trying to figure out where to take it... If anyone has a recommended, reliable shop good for general work, I'd appreciate it. Like I said... if they can just replace my serpentine belt and clean out some of the mess, I think I'd at least be able to drive the car until I can get around to fixing everything else.

You can take it to hector man, he is not the best option but any euro shop is going to rape you. I am sure Hector will treat you well price wise.

Yeah, his mechanic Jesse is pretty competent, I think he could handle that stuff. But if your not in a rush, and you think you could get the car to the house, we can knock it out tomorrow after work. Maybe someone can volunteer to drive us around if we need parts since I had to turn in the rental and the GF is busy tomorrow night.

Well, I have class from 3:30-4:45 and 7:00-8:15 PM, so I'm not too sure how well that would work out. If you think we could knock it out on Wednesday evening, that might work out. I should have a rental, so getting around wouldn't be a huge issue.

I have multiple problems with that ad. 2" wheel spacers? BS. The warranty can't have much longer, if any time at all, left on it. It's ugly.

I am kind of getting attracted to the Mint Blue kit. no way there are 2" spacers and most do not know the warranty is 8 years or 100k, whichever comes first. It would be a nice project car though but not for that price.
