These guys CF wrap trim pieces... maybe you could get them to CF wrap the entire dash. I'm sure it wouldn't be too expensive.

I am going to get the goodbox soon and just wondered if anyone successfully integrated the Oil Pressure/Temp senders into it?
It doesn’t seem to overly complicated but figured I would test the waters (I am trying to limit the number of "gauges" I will end up with)

so what is the agenda for this weekend? I have a three day.... friday is already booked up with waiting on a fridge, since ours decided to take a crap saturday.
I know about the install at mikes, and might take swg's 8 over there and do that basslink at the same time.

Well, I got my turbo yesterday and I should get the oil cooler and clutch this week so any help putting all the accessories and manifolds, etc. back on the motor and figuring out my oiling systems would be appreciated.
How are you liking the Cobb? Did you get your copy of ATR yet? Bring it over with your laptop and I'll show you how to change the fans, omit the CEL, etc.

being that I am close to going through this myself a "sneak peak" would be most beneficial.

I can help out on Saturday, maybe grunge and I can both get a crash course on using the ATR I haven't tried messing with it yet but I will be soon.
Grunge all you need to do is go to cobbs website and click the access tuner link, then put in your serial number. They will email you the access for the atr.

I got some replies on the mysterious connectors. I confirmed that one was the connector for ambient temp sensor and one was the AC pressure switch. The other one is supposedly for the temp switch in the lower radiator hose, so I'll have to look for that.
I haven't figured out if I can just buy the correct connectors needed, but someone recommended looking into just converting them to generic electrical connectors. I'm thinking that might be the best option to get things repaired quickly and with relative ease.

I'll definitely offer any assistance I can.

I'll look into that... I should have some time on Friday, so I'll see what they can do.
Wasn't the AC connector still attached with some wire? If so, then the rewire with generic connectors would work. I know the ambient sensor can just be rewired. Since we didn't spot the one on the radiator hose, we may be fortunate enough to salvage that too. If that's the case, then we won't have much to worry about. I just can't remember which wiring/connectors we had left that were still useful.
I emailed vast about the water/meth hosing and they said they'd just send me some more hose, free of charge. I also asked about how the connectors work... they said the red rings are just an indicator for the press to release (spring loaded) connection.

Are you sure the one at the coolant hose wiring was gone? That's the one we didn't identify/find, unless you noticed it and we assumed that wasn't the missing plug. The remaining wiring is still in my car, so I haven't checked yet... but I thought we had the proper connector for the portion that plugs into the AC. If that's the case, we just have to rewire it with any connector near the vast unit.
