yeah live and learn... how much of a warranty? have them write it in blood...

Shoot just between 9K, Hoss and myself, we've researched and have done just about everything and anything.

Rebuilt an engine, ordered a pro rebuilt engine, researched and purchased turbo, researched purchased an SC, installed a clutch, ported an engine, sohn adapter, various oil and cooling mods, various suspension/wheel combos, etc etc etc.

You name it we've done it or are planning on doing it...

Now factor in every other member here...

Yea I would sit down and take notes If I was still a new to the rotary world...

I am happy to hear you like it. Its to bad you did not get a chance to do a more direct comparison IE a good drive the same day before it was installed. I am willing to bet your ride is better then stock and Alot more "controlled".

Make sure you have the front sway on full soft or you may notice some funny handling traits you are not use to and a more ruff ride then you want.

It is kind of like the first time I drove the car...I was like hell yea...I was trying to compare body roll on a few corners I take to work certainly an improvement!!!

still comfortable and steering seems way more responsive. I choose the middle hole ("stiffer" I think they call it). I will give it some time and when AP sends me the sleeves for the link I will make the adjustment if necessary.

I broke traction a few times and it was well balanced, I kind of expeted oversteer but felt good, didnt get "too" agressive though...I absolutely need new tires

yep think of it as leverage the holes further out on the bar are able to put my leverage on the bar making it essentially softer. Even at its softest setting it is Much stiffer then stock. I chose the Hotkis stuff as it is adjustable and dose not have the insanely high rates of other bars such as the progress one. Do a few back to back drives in a big parking lot before and after you make the adjustment to the bar. You will see a difference.

thats what I read about the other bar, they were overly stiff. Its almost comical when you compare the OEM and Hotchkis side by side and try not to look at the rear bar it looks so frail (but I am glad I didnt mess with it.

I think I am going to pull the trigger on the wheels and lugs, 3 of my 4 current tires are close to bald and with a 4-6 week lag on forgestars better get the ball rolling. (I tried to find something other than f14's because I didnt want to "copy" you (and anyone else that has them cause they seem common).....but damn they just look good in gunmetal on a Ti Rx8

Don't feel like paying for new tires when I drive my car like 100 miles a month if I'm lucky.

So do the Kics r26's only come in black and neochrom?

I am finding conflicting information and cant find a "manufactures" website.

http://www.rallysportdirect.com/KICS...rce=GoogleBase

the above website says brown in the description but I confirmed with them its "graphite"....is that the same a black

I was thinking black would be the best bet (black rotors, calipers and valve stems)

I ordered mine from works concepts. I got the same as you but in Neo Chrome... I would go black in your color car though. I just thought the Neo would stick out a little better on red.

yea I want black but the website above says brown/graphite (not sure how those 2 go together)....$171 is one hell of a price from what I have found so far and if the only 2 options are neo and black then problem solved if gunmetal/graphite is an option then I will get black from a more confirmable source.

Works Concepts doesnt seem to have any but I will call them at 12 when they open.

another thing since these are open face lugs I can just paint the end of the lug bolts so I'm not looking at rust ... right.... or are they short enough that you can see it? It looks like rear lug bolt replacement is a PIA

you will not see the Lug at all with the 26's... I dont know why some guys run 40mm ones... You will not notice the black or slight variation of back with those lugs... you have to really look to notice the crazy color of my set.

I will most likely have to replace my lugs for my spacers and that is not a job I am looking forward to. I still have not figured out if my spacers come with lugs or if I need to order a set.
